Incredible how far Tekken has reached. I never played them (except for Tekken 3) but I´ve been into videogames since the arcade saloons. And it´s a franchise that has always been around. And back then it looked as another fighting game around the place. But it survived succesfully the transition from saloons to homes, the test of time and it became a beloved franchise with a deep story for a genre not used to have one. I´m happy for it. And for its fans.

honestly tekken's story has to be the best example of keeping it simply compared to so many others.
It doesn't get fancy with its plots like some other fighting games, you don't have multiple timelines like mortal kombat, and you don't have whatever the plot of street fighter is.
From start to finish tekken is about the mishimas and there internal feud spiralling out of control. It's always focused on them and it's kept straightforward with them with the others having there side stories to experiment with some stuff like steve being a clone or deal with comedy among other things.

tekken 7s story is pretty good ive beated it but damn the last boss is like really damn pretty hard indeed.

@@gilangrama4668 yeah im familiar with it. However, while Hwoarang has good moves still is more focused to the more "effective" part of taekwondo than the traditional one. You see, there are two types of taekwondo. WTF (world taekwondo federation) and ITF (international taekwondo federation). The last one is the traditional taekwondo, which uses commonly lots of kick but still uses lots of other moves with other parts of the body, like hands, personal defense, elbows, fingers and more (taekwondo is born from a mix of karate and a korean martial art called taekyon, dont remember the exact name XD). WTF is more competitive and focused on kicks.
Hwoarang is more focused on kicks than using hands, but still he uses them, more like a mix of both types of the art.
And by the way, ironically i dont like using him since i prefer Kazuya or Heihachi XD

I feel like even though it looks like Jin’s new Rage Art, it kinda gives you a hint that Jin has finally taken control over the Devil Gene, also the chain breaking at the end of the trailer symbolizes Jin no longer being chained, or in shambles to the curse of the Devil Gene. I can’t wait!!!

@@iluse557 Unlike his father, Jin cannot control his Devil Gene power because he hates it and refused to learn how. However at the end of T7, we get glimpses that he can use it without going berserk.
Then in the showcases we can clearly see him utilizing it to it's full extend without being Devil Jin. Plus, this is symbolized when he crushed the black feathers on his palm and the chains breaking.
