Welcome to Eternity and your pale host: Septienna! Join us as we raise the dead from their rest and destroy all that is green and good in this island world
Hey Paul! I never comment on TH-cam videos but i just wanted to say you're my favorite HoMM streamer and im super excited you are releasing new videos! I love your casual style and interesting commentary. Keep up the great work!
Hello my friend and thanks for that awesome comment! Glad you're enjoying the stuff. Getting comments is the only real thing that keeps small channels alive, can't emphasise enough how much it means to us so don't be shy if there's others you enjoy, let em know!
Love your videos! I'd love to see you try a 1 hero challenge. Starting against one AI enemy on a small map and go bigger and more ennemies after if you want. :)
How much of the puzzle map each obelisks removes, seems to depend on the amount of obelisks on the map. For example, on a Jebus Cross map, where obelisks are few and far between, it is sometimes possible (though highly unlikely) to reveal the Grail on the first day by entering just one obelisk.
I don't think you mentioned it (correct me if I'm wrong), but there is a good strategy to make more use out of spells like death ripple, fire wall or armageddon that can be utilized very well with Septienna. When you attack neutrals, the amount of stacks they split into depends on the strength of your army relative to theirs. The stronger you are compared to them, the fewer stacks they split into, in order to avoid getting one-hit-KO'd by your troops. Conversely, the weaker you are, the more stacks they split into, so they can cover more ground and eliminate you more quickly. Septienna (and anyone she gives Death Ripple to using her built-in Scholar skill) can exploit this system in the same way as Luna - death ripple deals more damage with every cast the more stacks there are. Example: when you attacked the nymphs guarding the underworld gate, they split into 3 stacks only, because you had 8 vampires, a chunk of skeletons, etc. But if you came into battle with, let's say, only 5 wights, they might have split into 6 or 7 stacks, effectively doubling the damage of every cast. This is a very efficient (if mana intensive) way of clearing weak blocks, because you won't take any losses whatsoever. I specifically mentioned wights instead of skeletons because wights constantly regenerate health, making them ideal for finishing off weakened enemy stacks - let's say, you cast death ripple, one nymph survives in every stack, you don't want to cast it again, because it would be a waste. But if you just let your wights defend, those 7 stacks of 1 nymph each won't be able to kill one wight before the wights get their turn and fully regenerate. Even if you know this tactic, I'm sure it's worth mentioning to the audience, if there are some beginners around!
@@paulgoes5494 Cool, I have had a lot of fun with that template editor, but never thought of doing anything with water. Thanks for the tip about resizing some zones.
1:18:31 you are guaranteed to get wisdom at lvl 6, 18, 24(and so on every 6 lvls) so picking necromancy for the sake of early game is not a gamble here 2:15:13 no

Where did you find this 8mm6 template with water? Thanks,
Hi, I made it in the RMG editor by messing with the zone sizings
