I don't think naming it a road legal Formula 1 car is accurate. Naming it a road legal car inspired by the Formula 1 car looks is more appropriate.

I love the fact that the second seat section can be closed of by a cowl, that is genius. It's like the solo seat cowls on sport bikes. It looks so much cleaner when you aren't riding 2up.

It's a kit car, and kit cars have very different rules from your average sedan :)
IT has to pass an IVA test which is much more stringent than an MOT, it dictates the radius of panels at certain heights, the height of the lights, placement of the seatbelts and every little detail, it is not an easy thing to get through but once you've done it once it does get a bit easier as you know what they will be looking at better, talking to an IVA tester can help a lot
@@FuroreGaming Yes. It's no easy feat getting something through an IVA test. The test alone cost me over £500 in 2014 and it takes about 4 hours. Retest because it didn't meet emissions was £100. Everything and I mean everything is checked to make sure it meets UK build standards. But at the end of the day I had a car that I built from scratch.

I was about to send the money for one :) but then because of brexit it became almost impossible to import one. It’s probably the most cost effective high performance sports car. by high performance I don’t mean horse power but good cornering, balance, wheel feedback, and good power/weight. plus you get a unique experience
Also, it’s obviously not a formula 1 but a single seater inspired style, but by some aspects it’s better than an f1 because it would be almost impossible to drive an f1 setup on the streets, also this is for those who want an extremely cost effective car (including low maintenance costs).

I don't think we've ever put one in a wind tunnel, for the most part it is a Formula replica so Russ designed the cars for the looks rather than the areo, I would be interested to see one of the newer ones go through a wind tunnel though

Has the same bending front wing as the Mercedes had. To be honest i think its a bit of a stretch to call this a road legal F1 car though.
