I don't often run across other people who hold the Zero series as their favorite, mostly because the difficulty compared to the franchise's average is a turnoff for many. Personally, I love it, as the incredibly smooth and precise movement stop it from ever feeling cheap. Plus the higher overall difficulty does make the games very exciting and involved to play unlike much of the X series where I occasionally go on autopilot while playing. Really, the only real issue I have with the games is that 1 and 2's main collectables, the Cyber Elves felt rather pointless if you're a rank hunter. Luckily, 3 fixed that quite nicely with the addition of satelitte Elves, which made the flexibility of experimenting with different Elf loadout combinations in different situations really fun.
9 years later im still enjoying this figure. Sad they never continued the line, but im grateful they gave us Zero. Truly one of my favorite figures in my collection
Bandai made three Zero figures. The first two from the Mega Man X series, and this fake body but real heart and spirit Zero from the Mega Man Zero series.
I would KILL for a Copy X. Also, I noticed you used the Megaman/Rockman X for a comparison. Tell me, have you had any problems with the shoulders? I ask because I own both "normal" X and "Armored" X, and BOTH broke their left shoulder joint at the bicep swivel, requiring me to glue them in place. Just want to know if its an isolated case.
Looks like I'll be super gluing that hair piece in. A piece like that just forces me to keep it off to avoid frustrations even after posing. This figure looks kick ass!
Thanks for giving me a heads up on what to expect and what to look out for. I recently just purchased mine from Anime Expo here in Los Angeles and now want to set mine up as well :) Just wondering, how much did yours cost? I want to compare prices (with shipping) though I highly doubt that you got yours for more..
***** oh man haha coz I searched this a while back and it showed as a model kit not by kotubukiya but by bandai themselves idk if I was on something but that's what I remember haha but thanks man , good solid review as always ! Keep up the good work !
duy luu I think I finally noticed the flaw in the sculpt, and it is not long limbs or neck, the problem is the helmet, the red part should be a little bit bigger, or wider so the gap between the "V" part and the white parts is closer. Aside from that and the hair it is a perfect figure.
When you look at the artwork of the mutos reploid bosses in the Zero series, they already look like action figures. So I would love to see this company make figures of Anubis Necromancess, Hanumachine, Blizzack Staggroff etc. Also, great review! I made sure to watch this video before buying this figure off Amazon. Can't wait till it gets here. :)
I have a massive figure collection, And I have just about all of S.H Figuarts Capcom characters, But this Zero was the first one I got, And it's still my favorite one
It's a tamashii web exclusive - no retail release in japan. There will be an american release later this month though, so you should be able to get it off of amazon or BBTS
This is the only figure I ever got from the darts/ sh-figuarts megaman you i ever got, totally worth it. Wish I had gotten a character from the megaman x games instead of the zero games, but still cool
I guess what I read on Protodudes Rockman Corner is right about this figure, he does have long limbs! It is do to all those joints. And now you mentioning about the hair falling off, how finicky it is and loose joints, ughhhhh... And that hair, oh boy its UGLY with that piece. Why would they ok it and go on with production with it? How? And why does the paint application seem splotchy to me?
I want this figure so badly....I've been meaning to get him for some product photography (finchzerophotography.com/products/) but he keeps slipping under my radar :P Another nice review by the way, and I have been VERY happy with my Metal Build Laevatien :)
I can see why they did that with Zero's hair joint, since D-arts Zero's head articulation is really limited due to the hair. I've never liked the art design of the MMZ series, so this figure was an easy pass for me despite loving Zero. I'll stick to my D-arts Zero Ver. 2.
Aw aint he cute? Least favorite art style for me was the MMZ series but damn those games were good. Great review. I was considering passing on this one but he looks very possible and neat. I have the other Zeros so why not?
***** Haha I'm gonna get him for sure. It'll look nice along side the other Zeros. I even like what they did with the hair. Old Zero's hair gave his head barely any articulation it was so big, solid and clumpy. This one's is dope.
It will be cool if Bandai also makes a Harpuia, Leviathan and Fenrir figures
Considering their track record with the other Robot Masters, I doubt we'll see anything. We're lucky enough to get Zero!
I prefer Original X.
I know i jus literally said that before watching this video
I would love a harpuia figure
@Meijin KawaguchiIV thanks bro

actually that white center is accurate for shield uses
And will never seen a new figure for megaman zero series...
Sad 😔
Even after the zero collection came out
We got very few 😰🥺
I hope we do get a Vent (and possibly Aile and the other ZX characters) figure as well at some point so that we'd have the main "Mega Men"
Mine has a problem with his left arm, it keeps falling off.
I need me some Copy X.
ME TOO I AM GETTING BOTH ZERO AND X FOR CHRISTMAS
online there are photos of copy x figures online found by this video th-cam.com/video/3ig2-JFNPxY/w-d-xo.html at 3:33
waiiittt hold the fuck up I found copy x in FULL ARMOR tatsuhobby.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_35&products_id=2122

How do you tighten joints?
Disassemble, then coat the joints with Pledge Future Floor Polish. If you don't have that, clear nail polish will also work.
What about gunpla? Shining gundAm head and hands and waist to loose.
Same thing. Or if you paint and top coat that should generally tighten everything as well.
Thanks for giving me a heads up on what to expect and what to look out for. I recently just purchased mine from Anime Expo here in Los Angeles and now want to set mine up as well :)
Just wondering, how much did yours cost? I want to compare prices (with shipping) though I highly doubt that you got yours for more..
The shield is done right..the white center is blade handle that spin so fast thats why its not clear part
They need to release a recolor of this figure for Omega.
That would be fucking awesome
Wasn't this a model kit or something or is it a new different entity ? Can someone please clarify this for me ?
This is an action figure by Bandai.
You're thinking of the kotobukiya Kit. store.kotous.com/mega-man-zero-zero-plastic-model-kit.html
***** oh man haha coz I searched this a while back and it showed as a model kit not by kotubukiya but by bandai themselves idk if I was on something but that's what I remember haha but thanks man , good solid review as always ! Keep up the good work !
Dax Michael I saw that too when I searched on Amazon, they had the figuarts listed as a model kit.
does this come in the small pieces that you need to cut and file out, or is it something more like bionicle or something of that nature?
It's a figure, so aside from a few swappable parts, it's fully assembled
I think the neck is long
So I prefer the kotobukiya version or maybe you just have to fix the head what do you guys think ?

I just got the figure and when I put on the shield, the peg on the shield broke off and now I can't get it out. some one help me please
sorry dude, NO one knows.
Welp this cleared any doubts I had when this figure was seen in development. Time to pre-order.

dud if they make omega and x imma be very happy
I'd like to see sh figuarts omega aka zero sdcc exclusive, including one new face (his homicidal grin with wide eyes with shrank pupils).
+the Megaman channel yeah!
I have a massive figure collection, And I have just about all of S.H Figuarts Capcom characters, But this Zero was the first one I got, And it's still my favorite one
I really want a s.h figuarts N.T warrior megaman! That's my favorite design and childhood megaman :)
That's the anime based of of Battle Network/Megaman.EXE right? Yeah, I loved those games too!
That was my first mega!
I can't find this on amiami for some reason :/
It's a tamashii web exclusive - no retail release in japan. There will be an american release later this month though, so you should be able to get it off of amazon or BBTS
***** Oh, I see. No wonder it's called "Megaman" instead of "Rockman." Can't wait!
This is the only figure I ever got from the darts/ sh-figuarts megaman you i ever got, totally worth it. Wish I had gotten a character from the megaman x games instead of the zero games, but still cool
I wish bandai consider the 4 mega man from zx advent to be SHF , they remind me of the 4 Divas in Kill la Kill.
Great review! Personally I would die to get a Harpuia figure to go with it!
I guess what I read on Protodudes Rockman Corner is right about this figure, he does have long limbs! It is do to all those joints. where did you get this? i searched almost everywhere...
It's a tamashii web exclusive. There will be a north american release later this month.
Wait...this existed...AND NO ONE TOLD ME?!
Ohhhh, you've missed out on ALOT
Sorry bro..
you never looked it up?
Oh My that hair... uhhhhhhhhh😫
I feel your pain 557 deadpool I literally just found out about this figure and I am really sad
The height is fine. I'm pretty sure he's supposed to be shorter than X and his previous form.
Probably. I just want a bigger toy lol
I love S.H. figures but why do they always make the screaming face look to the side?
do you have pic next to a figma??
I don't. But did you have a certain figma in mind?
***** XD just want to see the size dinferences :P
hmm i like how well you made this video you just got a new subscriber!
it'd be cool if they made an omega from this
I want this figure so badly....I've been meaning to get him for some product photography (finchzerophotography.com/products/) but he keeps slipping under my radar :P
Another nice review by the way, and I have been VERY happy with my Metal Build Laevatien :)
I think you should buy it.
Ohhh man! i want this figure! Great review!
I think you should buy it.
Is it just me, or Zero's head is a little oversized.
We need Leviathan's Figuarts asap.
Mine is coming in tomorrow! Aka Wednesday
I can see why they did that with Zero's hair joint, since D-arts Zero's head articulation is really limited due to the hair.
I've never liked the art design of the MMZ series, so this figure was an easy pass for me despite loving Zero. I'll stick to my D-arts Zero Ver. 2.
:(
I must buy this
At least they could have given us an Omega variant
copy x in armor tatsuhobby.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_35&products_id=2122 :D
the zero and zx series were cool than x7 and x8 because Burn To the ground
MegaMan X is my Mega Man
I need one!
if they made weils 8 i would be broke!
Aw aint he cute? Least favorite art style for me was the MMZ series but damn those games were good. Great review. I was considering passing on this one but he looks very possible and neat. I have the other Zeros so why not?
Yes, that's it... Talk yourself into buying Zero! :D
***** Haha I'm gonna get him for sure. It'll look nice along side the other Zeros. I even like what they did with the hair. Old Zero's hair gave his head barely any articulation it was so big, solid and clumpy. This one's is dope.
Yama Tai Koku has the best Zero, Harpuia, Leviathan, Phantom, Fefnir and X check them out
