You dont put these these models together and paint them for money do you? I was thinking about buying this kit along with the new star scream kit flame toys came out with. You do great detail work on them. Looking at someone do that to mine.

@Type V3: I'm a Transformers fan who prefers display/poseability/detail over Transformeability. I picked up Nemesis Prime and Megatron Decepticon version as my first dig into this hobby genre. ...I do hope they'll make many more like Soundwave, Grimlock etc.
I literally cut mine with fingernail scissors.... they worked rather hilariously great when I was making mine. No damage to the parts or anything. Literally the only problem I had was because a piece had 4 connectors that were just too short on the chest of Furai Model 03. Not even joking about that ... I LITERALLY did the build with them and not a small nail file and aside from a few left over plastic that I didn't feel safe clipping off.... it looks just fine.
Not a fan of the bold lining but I enjoy the build nonetheless. And instead of using toothpick to clean up, it's much easier to get a small bottle of thinner to clean up excess paint.
Hey V3 I just got the drift model kit and I was wondering if you can tell me how to paint it and which paint's to use?. I'm because I am FAR!!! from being elite when it's come's to those kind's thing's LOL

But when I first saw it, I thought it was one of those bootleg Taikiongsheners from Mainland China but checking the box, I decided to buy it as the kit is from HK and is licensed by Hasbro. I have completed assembling the kit but have not painted it as I want to use metallic to make it look like Alternators. Another is finding small rubber tires for the wheels

Oh my it looks so good! My friend got me a Shattered Glass Optimus Prime from Flame Toys for Christmas. At that point I'd only bought figures and not model kits but I really wanted to learn how to make one. So thank you for this!

I did not.
for cleaning the mistake with the silver paint, have you considered using a rubber eraser? I have done that myself on a few Bandai kits.
