Join us as we explore the ruins of Denbigh Castle in Denbighshire, Wales. The castle was involved in a great many of the wars and events of British history, and despite being left in ruins after the Civil War, it is still a beautiful site to explore.

Excellent thank you. Subbed. We did several events at that castle in the 80s. It was always windswept and interesting. I'm guessing the locals plundered it for building materials before restoration began.

Thanks so much for your support! It was definitely windswept when we visited, but the views were still stunning.

I traced my lineage back to Denbigh. My last name is Meridith (family spelling is “Meredith” before immigration to the US) and my ancestors held a family seat here. I’d love to see it one day.

@@relicsruins England and Wales have done fantastic record keeping! I’m so lucky that I get the opportunity to see them. I’ve found some as far back as the 1300’s under one of my other family lines. Thank you for the wonderful video. 💜
