Thanks for watching! I think Wales is the perfect place to explore some old castles! Each one with a unique look, stunning surroundings, and an interesting story!
Nice video Alex. Reminded me of the 5 castles that we saw when we were there in May this year. Love to go back again and I'll make sure to see Carreg Cennan castle, looks very interesting!
Indeed, I must admit, I have been to the town of Caernarfon many times but never actually ventured inside the castle, but from the outside alone, it looked stunning!
@AlexTravels1 great castles, I've been to Caernavon Castle and it is stunning, with fantastic history, as are all of the castles in Wales, a fabulous heritage of my country of birth, greetings from wales uk 😀
Came through Wales on a road trip in 2012, and had time for sadly only 3 castles. I visited Laugharne, Carreg Cannen and Raglan. Funny that 2 of those show up on this list!
Indeed! There are so many castles to choose from all over Wales, I hadn't actually heard of Raglan castle before but after looking at photos just now I might have to add it to my next trip!
Interesting! Castles and the time periods they were used fascinate me greatly. But I live in Canada so I don’t know if I’ll ever see one of the masterpieces that stand in the British Isles. I live near “Dundurn Castle” in Hamilton, Ontario, but that was built in the 19th century and isn’t made of stone or “ancient” looking
Thanks for the suggestion! I had never heard of this castle before, but after looking at some photos I'll be sure to add it to my list. The landscapes surrounding it look so unique as well!
Alex this is incredible. Thank you for showcasing the castles of Wales!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I can't get enough of Wales' castles
Really cool video Alex.. Thank you. We will definitely be visiting some of these in the future :)

Carreg Cennen is definitely worth a visit, the area surrounding that castle is also home to so many other amazing things to do!
Very beautiful
Thanks for watching!
Carreg Cennen is an excellent choice for a no 1 pick!
It was the tunnel hidden underneath Carreg Cennen that made it no. 1 for me. So great to explore!
Nice list, I quite like Caernarfon castle myself

@@AlexTravels1 It's quite nice on the inside, a part of it has been turned into a nice museum as well

People don't know of flint castle ,first to be built by Edward longshanks, 1277, and mentioned in Shakespeare and has so much history , must see

Yes flint is an old historic rough town Irish welsh mainly, but overlooks the wirral into Chester where welsh attacked the Romans at Chester xx
