Okay, that song from the story was definitely almost identical 😅 And I kinda agree with Ren. The strumming makes it sound similar to Money Game, but the chords are too different. Also still a bit jealous you got to hang out with Ren and his gang 😂 Lucky bastard to meet a legend 😂
Beaut reaction Shae, love this track & Ren’s voice particularly on this one. Had a bit of “ear steam” at the beginning 🤔 Was super catching you in chat on the live 🥰
Rika, you're such a great storyteller yourself (while the Money Game was ongoing, I did everything I could to organize my days around waiting for each daily rundown), LOVED how you put the intro together for this video. My favourite thing for reactors to do is when they splice bits of other videos or images into their reactions, when it illustrates what they're saying. And what a life, where you now have a memory of you & your wife driving down the Vegas Strip with Ren dissecting music from the back seat and singing bits of Diazepam. Edit: yeah, I don't think you're reaching about the tone on the guitar solo - at least, I've seen a couple of other reactors pick up on that. The solo reminds me SO MUCH of some of the work the lead guitarist does from my other favourite artists, The Weakerthans (early 2000s post-punk/folk punk band from Canada). Not the muted/filtered guitar tone, but what he's playing.
Hi 👋🏻 that how I felt, the screaming anxiety then the blunt almost monotone numbness it creates…then when it left his voice hits high, then low the drug rollercoaster. His intelligence showing how you feel, it’s a gift for sure. Loving your reaction. Much love 🫧🪽🤍🏴
@@RikaShae when you’ve been through this, and feel it over and over I’m relieved someone has such talent, perception, and even with his brain being damaged can translate it into music and words to give a voice. The creative visuals too, his circle of friends with talent is 🤯. Creatives of every genre attracted like moths to the light. Hope your art is going well, enjoying going through your catalogue. Have a great day 🫶🏻🤍🏴
Loved your ren story at the beginning 😁 diazepam is one of my favorite songs from him. I just resonate so heavily with it 💜💜 "went for a swim and then drowned in your ocean" such a good line. Also "self destructive healing is one in the same" 💜 also, i searched but i dont think youve done this one as a reaction, his song Heretic is also an animated video and an amazing song.
I love this one!! In the beginning when his voice is really high makes me feel like that's how he feels when he's on the drug, and then when he comes back in with his voice really low, makes me feel like thats how he feels when hes coming down off of it! The way he makes u FEEL a song is fucking insane! 🔥 U should definitely react to Ready for you if u haven't heard it yet!
So jealous of you getting to hear a bit of Diazepam live! And it sounded the same as the track even though it was just impromptu. He should have sounded like an 80 year old chainsmoker given what that week had been like. 😂
Very interesting and great reaction. I'm sure that at least the beginning of this track th-cam.com/video/xSSLSjNJIBw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=8ZzwNq39g7ESoAVt is almost exactly like one of Rens tracks. See if you can name the Ren track. 😁
I can hardly hear you. And my headphones are on blast. Can you make your videos louder for this deaf woman….when the music started playing…I can hear it…but you need to be louder. Please?✌️😊
I can do that! The first test I did I was really loud because I was recording a song before the reaction so I turned myself down, might have lowered it too much but it sounded ok when I rewatched with my studio headphones, might not have been the same for other people 😢
@@RikaShae it’s okay!! I was just hoping you could up it for me. I am actually deaf ….or very hard of hearing and wear hearing aids….but I very much enjoy your reactions….and want to watch but I need to be able to hear you. So thank you for possibly addressing this for me!! Appreciate you!!✌️😊

🤣🤣🤣😍
Not only did that second clip sound like Diazepam, the red car going through the desert was very much like the Everybody Drops visualizer.
That’s true!!!

I love Rens visualizers !!! Diazapam is such a good one!!
I loved it!

Very cool how he made the song with this structure in mind

Love the Ren story at the start. Diazepam has always been one of my favs. Love the video. Great reaction as ever Shae
Glad you enjoyed!

Gonna check that one as well

Love this one, love all Ren but this one I completely relate to 🖤
My favorite part about doing these reactions is that I get to add them to my playlist now
Such beautiful layers to this song alongside a fire video! He really is such a genius and honest storyteller. This song speaks volumes to me. ❤️❤️🔥❤️
There’s so many layers to it that I didn’t catch in the reaction that I realized after rewatching
@@RikaShae That’s the magic of Ren! He builds this arrangement that fits so perfectly with his story and the lyrics. So glad you reacted to this one
One of my favourite Ren Songs/videos

Love this one,Thanks Rikashae ❤
Glad you like it!
Love this so much love your reactions, not sure if you've seen it but Ready for You is another great one ❤ from the UK
Couple people been saying it, I don’t remember if I have or not but I will

One of my favourite Ren songs (i have many lol )
I assumed you'd heard all the Ren by now since you're a diehard like me 😂 Such a good song.
Still lots of songs and collabs that I’ve purposely not listened to so I could react to them
@RikaShae you've got amazing self control!
More Cartoon REN 👏😉😅🙏💪🍀🍀
Right?!
❤❤✌
One of his better songs IMO
Really catchy and a deep meaning
Nice reaction and commentary as always! I’ll be looking out for more. 💔❤️🩹❤️

@@RikaShae no! Thank you dear!!😊
Yes I had the same problem- could hardly hear him speak, although the song was loud enough
You made it sound like Ren was plagiarising, even though he wrote Diazepam before that Lemonade song was around...
I’m not sure how you came about that. I’m clearly saying they are stealing Ren’s music.
Thanks Shae… this is so good… thanks for sharing that moment … it must have seemed surreal … you’re the best!🫶🏻
Definitely unforgettable
