This dude is actually an excellent interviewer. Very relaxed, respects the guest while challenging them and making great convos. Holly shit how did I not know this dude?!?
Isn't that odd? Although Fantano does actively participate in meme culture, it's not as though his content is type of shit which usually attracts such irritating fans.
Denis Hooi "it's not as though his content is the type of shit which usually attracts such irritating fans" Please direct me to the supposed 'generalization', I unfortunately don't see it. Stop looking for something to hate lmao this was a reach.
People are saying he's trying to sound like he's as clever as noodlehead, maybe he's not trying to sound as intellectual as Anthony but he's actually interviewing him and can actually hold a conversation with him where 2 people share opinions and experiences and learn from each other and I think it seems like he's actually showing an interest instead competing with him . . . hmmm, ever think about that??
This was the interview the culture needed. Now we need the Zias and B Lou interview. Then we need Anthony to review that interview. Then we need Zias and B Lou to film a reaction video to watching Anthony's review of the interview. I was smoking sour D if anyone was wondering.
I think not having music in the reviews also gives the album publicity, somewhat forcing people to go listen to it so they know what Anthony is talking about lol. It also makes it more interesting to watch when you've listened to a whole album all the way through and you know exactly what he is saying whether you agree or disagree.
And it seems maybe fewer people really take the time to think of albums as full length artists projects nowadays. Its a classic format because it lends itself to telling stories and making the world around the listener disappear
this was cool. I had the same exact experience with rock and hardcore no longer keeping me interested and hip hop is the majority of the music I am playing
same here use to love rap I still like some hip hop but don't really listen to it that much now I mostly listen to soul and rock music slowly went from classic rock to indie and new wave and then RHCP
kbop sorry for you. Hip Hop is long gone I no longer listen to any new so called hip hop. I’m strictly into classic rock now & this coming from a true hip hop head.
Low key, same. I still love Alt rock and punk and emo and indie, which made up and still makes up a bulk of my music taste, but yeah, with the exception of bands like The 1975 and arguably Twenty One Pilots, are the only rock or alternative bands that are trying to shake up the rock game whether or not you enjoy their music. So I dove into Alt hip hop with artists like Tyler The Creator and Brockhampton etc. I also dove into Alt R&B and Indie Pop artists like the aforementioned The 1975, Lorde, FKA Twigs, SZA, Kali Uchis, Frank Ocean. The list goes on.!
Adam, please make an effort to get a Vince Staples interview. I know you don't care what I think, but he will make the most quality interview you've ever had.
dam this guy knows flocka inspired everyone thats WASSUP. glad to see someone with such a huge platform be aware of that. fflocka created the whole new trap scene and without him i wouldnt even have myl youtube channels
might be true, but the comparison was made in the context that they're both youtube creators who have hip hop platforms (in fantano's case, not entirely hip hop)
Trap music is called trap music because, in the beginning, trap rappers used trap money to fuel their rap career; the stylistic differences between the artists vary, but the same general tone & energy comes from the rapper's association with contraband
Jachin Smith not really, it came about because the topic was the Trap...everyone from T.I, Gucci, to Jeezy was callin their tapes Trap something and rappin about the Trap
Underground Hippy The trap is the trap cause u get fast money there, but you might end up dead or in jail. Hence why it is called the Trap. Trap music is the music birthed out of that lifestyle.
TRAP MUSIC is called trap because in Georgia the railroads cutoff the streets; so when people would go cop drugs and shit it was usually on a "dead end" road. Because the railraod cut it off from other streets. So the feeling of walking into a trap was what it felt like and in turn was nicknamed tha trap.
its a combination of all these but trap music didnt start in Georgia I think they just gave the style of music a name because all trap producers were influenced by 3 6 mafia trap was and is a slang term used to describe a way of life, a way to get money and a situation its all the same trap music is just the music that tells those stories and to trap to
