Basics of Junior Tennis Tournaments | USTA Eastern - NY, NJ & CT

Welcome to the junior tennis tournament circuit with USTA Eastern! USTA Eastern is the governing body of tennis in New York, northwestern New Jersey and Greenwich, Connecticut.
Once you have completed the Net Generation Orange and Green levels or turn 11, USTA Junior Tournaments are the next step on the USTA Eastern Competitive Pathway. With junior tournaments, USTA Eastern strives to provide quality competitive opportunities for players to develop their skills in competition against others. Participating in USTA Junior Tournaments can propel your game to the next level and prepare you for competition in high school, college or even the pros.
The tournaments are offered at Level 7 (intermediate/beginners) all the way up to Level 1 (top players in the nation).
USTA Junior Tournaments are offered in a variety of formats, including individual, team, non-elimination and elimination.
Parents who want to help their kids develop their tennis game through tournament competition can view instructions outlined in this video to follow the "USTA tournament pathway". The USTA app, usta.com and local tennis facilities can be great resources for you to get started as well.
