envidia eterna, recuerdo comprar la revista Madhouse y en el tour latinoamericano solo aparecia: MEJICO+VENEZUELA+BRASIL+CHILE fue 1espanto que BUENOS AIRES no aparezca y 1promotor local en fm Rock&Pop aseguro que por el deficit de la devaluacion del dolar breve a la crisis del 2001 hizo que su productora quebrara en bancarrota. Es por eso que perdimos esa ultima etapa con la formacion original al igual que Linkin Park en 2004. este año regresamos a la misma situacion con alta devaluacion del dolar, solo que todo esta bancarizado y las entradas se agotan rapido porque ya no dependemos de los ahorros. ademas que ahora se acercan personas de paises limitrofes y eso provoca agregar nuevas funciones. en si Korn al continente no regresan ¿hace 7años no?

He struggled VERY bad. I have seen and heard 100s of different version of GTL live and this one was probably the worst. He must have been drinking before the show or on meth.
@@LeadMe2TheBliss He wasn't on meth in 2002 - come the start of 2003, he started snorting meth & cocaine to get high, and before he had to even do anything with KoRn, he either drank a few cans of Coors Light or took a Xanax. I think he was on alcohol during the show, and that believed why his sloppy playing at the Bizarre Festival 2002 (an earlier gig) was this.
I love this band, but this show was kinda bad! Guitars out of tune, David couldn't keep the tempo and the effects on JD's voice were triggering out of time. It is kinda funny to watch now, but they were not in a good form in this show.
I definitely think some of the members were at low points of their lives at this point unfortunately. In particular, Head was playing some of those lead parts very inaccurately, probably because he was extremely high off meth. You can tell by his facial expressions, movements and playing that he wasn’t at his best by any means during this show and in the 2002-2004 era in general. Glad they’re doing better now and wish the best for Fieldy and David as well.
@@oldskooldude090 Even before meth, I remember there was certainly alcohol/drug abuse he was involved in. Certainly am just glad he and the rest of the members are doing much better now!
@@mod3rnwarrior34 He is an alcoholic, he started drinking again HEAVILY for a short while since he's been back in KoRn he talked it on the No F'n Regrets podcast. But he said he quit again because he can't just have a few drinks. He was an alcoholic around this time, so was Munky, so he was probably wasted out of his mind. He f'd up Got The Life really bad. Munky and Fieldy can handle their booze and drugs a lil better than Head from what I have picked up. Munky has a certain confidence on stage that Head doesn't have.
Brian was struggling with a bad meth addiction around this time which seemed to effect his guitar playing during their concerts. To be fair though, KoRn are sort of known as being sloppy guitarists, they're not professional on the level of John 5 but they have a knack for writing incredibly unique/catchy riffs and guitar melodies, also they have have a great ability when it comes to switching between many guitar effect pedals on stage. I think the 7 string guitar sound of Brian and James is what makes KoRn special. The way they play together as guitarists, when they are at their best, they are 2 of the best guitarists on the planet. They screwed up at this show though, they butchered Got The Life. 🤣All bands have bad days though.

Yes, they screwed up on Got The Life that's for sure. This was a low point for the band due to their addictions with drugs, alcohol, and sex.

This was actually pretty sloppy. You can tell Brian was fucking up.. Munky looked pissed.
Head guitars on Got the Life sucks big time!! And he knew it! He said that in his biography! 2002-2004 his playing was getting worse because drugs
