Biggest thing they need to fix is stopping the ability of super guilds to be able to crush everyone on the GbG map in the first 1hr to a point you just can't challenge them . Leaving your only option to tank a round to drop levels to chase rewards
Just over a year ago, I watched friends and guild members bid goodbye to the game out of boredom. Now, over a year later, it is happening again, but from burnout. I agree about the time management issue, but I think it’s more than simplifying actions in the game. Inno needs to strive for balance! Even the most die hard competitive end game players simply cannot and do not want to play forge 24/7. Inno needs to understand that we WANT to play and enjoy all aspects of the game, but piling one thing on top of the other just leads to stress and aggravation, not enjoyment or fulfillment. My guild competes in GE (80 member perfect score), GbG (#2 in strength), and QI (10k lead in 1st). We fully play every part of the game, but it is too much. The number one ask from top players over the course of years has been for Inno to provide opportunities to rest from parts of the game to keep them fresh. My suggestion is that Inno should alternate GbG and QI. That would allow players a break from both, while giving players the opportunity to fully engage in each one and have a rest period as well. Both components are sufficiently engaging to keep players hooked, and having a break from each allows excitement to build up for their return. For reference, I’m a top 50 player, 6 year founder of a top guild and fully play every aspect of the game to the max. I love all the changes and game additions, but Inno please give us balance so we don’t burn out.
Very well said, and I couldn't agree more! Burnout is also my #1 issue, and for people who try to compete in multiple aspects of the game in multiple cities, forget about it. I like the idea of alternating between GBG and QI, and letting GE continue to be a weekly mainstay. Sounds very sensible to me. Oh, and I also have to keep doing the settlements, since I have yet to finish them all - it's just way, way too much all at once.
agreed. I have 5 live cities and a beta one, and it's getting to be a chore. I would like to contribute to all of my guilds but I cannot fight 2000 fights now in every GBG in all 6 cities, I also have to do 5 lvls of GE, do the QI, the settlement, I'm in SAAB in one city, have to constantly mine ore, two of my cities are in OF, have to grind to get orichalcum. It's just TOO MUCH. I would hate to close down some of my cities because I spent so much time and energy on them, but man, just harvesting 6 cities with a BG takes up nearly 2 effin hours of my life now. and then i haven't even touched GE, GBG and QI and the settlement yet!
Those damn pop-ups!!! Glad they are fixing it. And I hate the 100 max fps storage. Not when my city collects thousands. I enjoy collecting manually but I have to use the 5 diamond collect feature because of this
FPs should also continue to generate when you have 10 or more, so new payers can better manage their real-life time (later in the game the 1fp an hour becomes meaningless).
@@guidodenbroeder935 having even just one event building makes the 10 generated fp option useless, to be honest. even if you are absolute beginner, in 2 weeks you can generate enough fp from buildings that you can start leveling GBs.... Players starting out now are much much more in luck than we used to be, with the pesky 1 shrine of knowledge you were happy to place and get 1 daily fp out of it... We have a guildie who started out in february, by May he had a lvl 80 arc. When I started out, it took me almost a year to get the arc to lvl 80. you can easily harvest hundreds of fps now even with a really small and young city...
We have been asking for years to remove the amount of pointless, repetitive busy work, excessive mouse clicks, and to give us tools to use/manage inventory quicker and more efficiently. If people need to use a bot (like FoE Helper) just to manage mundane day to day tasks, this means that the game as offered by the developer is far from perfect. If I were a developer, I would view bots as free product feedback and counseling. THAT is your key to time management/quality of life issues, not musing around endlessly how hard or easy an event or a new game feature should be. Btw, how does QI having to build for 4 days before you can reasonably start working the nodes do anything positive for quality of life/time management issues?
Yeah, I play everyday and I've barely touched QI.. Too much effort to build a city and then having it scrapped is kinda meh. Also, the reset feels way too quick. Should be like a month or two long at least?
1) They are human (fair enough) 2) They care about money. Lets be clear. 3) They play the game to the extent that it's required in order to program successfully. Lastly, they want to make as much money as they possibly can. Lets not forget that their choices clearly reflect that.
@@UBERnerd14 No they don't. They switched the buttons for 'auto battle' and 'attack'. So now you keep hitting the wrong button. If they would legitimately play they would know what a stupid idea it is to switch buttons.
@@UBERnerd14 - There you have it - not your "average" player, then. They are effectively "paid" to play the game, as competitive players. Their needs and wants, and even their experience and perception of the game (and most importantly, the amount of time they have available to play the game, as it is part of their job), isn't going to be the same as an ordinary "customer". Also, the vast majority of players *aren't* super-dynamic players in Elite Guilds, like you suggest that the Devs are. For many many people, it is a game, a pastime... a way to escape from the pressures of the Real World, for a short time, when they get the time - It's NOT a part of their job to play it. And doesn't it seem a bit iffy that the Devs are in "the Top guilds"? Does that suggest that those Guilds get some benefit from having a Dev (or more) as a member? Are they "the top Guilds" *because* they have a Dev in their membership? Seems a bit like politicians in the governing party, placing bets on when the election is going to be held... or workers at the stock exchange making money by buying/selling their own shares, based on inside knowledge. It's not unknown for developers to include "backdoor" routines, and "God mode" functions, within game code - that's why many games have "cheat codes" that ordinary players learn about. It wouldn't be difficult to code in something like "If cityname="Eldorado" then DiamondPayoutAmount=DiamondPayoutAmount+100. It has a nasty smell to it!
and what is your problem with them making money? that's their job. all game developers develop games for a living. Nobody denies Inno isn't charity. Do you work for free in your job? I don't think so.
First of all, I think it's pretty neat they reached out to you. Always nice when game developers (directly or indirectly) contact people who are active in the community and creating content for the game. @2:55 “Introduce more challenging components that you’ll have to work towards while also allowing you to still play and compete in the meantime.” I think they could do something similar to what they did in the recent Heroes event, being able to pick from easy/medium/hard options so, let's say, everyone can play the same amount (not taking into account that if you played only the easy levels you “couldn’t” spend all the event coins), but those who can, play the harder levels for better rewards. Increase the rewards (amount and/or value) based on strength not time, not based on how for long can you do certain things but whether you Let’s say GE would just have 1 level but you can decide how strong you want your opponents to be. You just started the game and low on boosts? Enemy army boost ranges for 0-100 for you only, but the rewards are also weak. You are an old player with a very strong city? You can choose to fight armies with 5-10k boost and the rewards will be better. I’m aware the issue with this is “making stronger players even stronger”, but I think this is still better than what we have now as stronger players “need” to play more. If you are strong, you can fight for much longer in GBG, “expected” to fight more. In QI it’s similar, stronger players can fight for longer while the rest of the guild forgets about QI once they hit the wall.
I see a lot of comments about the game, but most of them is just disruptive (non constructive) ranting. It's easy to know what we don't like, but not as easy to think of something we "would" like, and I include myself in this comment. Inno reached out to you because you want the game to get better and you have ideas. So kudos to you Uber, this is the only way the game can improve.
Nonsense, all players want the game to improve, and when you know what you don't want, you immediately know what you do want. Don't like pop ups? Do like no pop ups. See, how easy that is? Also: Uber is not the only one who wants the game to improve. Saying that they reacted to Uber because he's the only one that wants a better game and that he's the only one that has ideas is utter bullocks. They ignored all the players all those years who reached out to them.
@@nono-fr2uo well, I was implicitly referring to content creators, or should they arrange private discussions with all those who leave comments in the forums? And I still think that there's a lot of negativity out there.
How do you not ask them about storing great buildings? As people are deleting their outdated GBs, Inno are planning to buff them. Storing GBs is the best solution, it will save us from being disappointed and it will save Inno from answering 50,000 tickets about deleted GBs
Could something be done regarding all the unnecessary rewards we get ? I don't need any Gate of the Sun! How many have I had to sold in the past years? So many... And now I get all those boost for gold coins that I don't need ! And again, I have to spend time to get rid of them, or my inventory is full of stuff I don't use...
Allow me to collect from my city without having to stop every 100 FP and find somewhere to put them. Let FP bar go to 999 during city collection (or always) I don't even want to log into my main city anymore.
@@hr.m885 - Nope! I know from experience that it doesn't collect all the Forge Points. My city makes around 920 Forge Points every day. I do a 5 Diamond collection sweep, but it only collects around half of the Forge Points (it seems to be a different number, every day), and then doesn't collect the rest... and also doesn't collect other goodies produced by the buildings that it didn't collect the FPs from (if you see what I mean). So I then have to find somewhere to dump the first 500 or so Forge Points, and then pay ANOTHER 5 Diamonds, to complete the collections.
Well, well, well, I thought there were only (financial) Sharks left in the Inno building. I mean it’s heartwarming that they care about the game, but almost every action is diamonds related nowadays. This was not so in 2015, now you barely will make progress without buying a gold or silver pass or spending loads of 💎’s. So I can’t get rid of the Only-Sharks feeling 🦈💰🦈💰🦈💰🦈💰🦈💰🦈
I was thinking. As a put my precious old building in storage I wondered may we can get a Museum kind of option where we can build a city but they dont produce anything. Just for showing our achivements. A new city free rodes decors just for fun. I personally loved my Fire Pagodas but they are dusted in my storage.
Autobattle is fine, I enjoy it. I don’t have to play that much GBG, but I can if I want to. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean that others don’t like it. I hate manual battle. Still I do it in QI to get those extensions. I dislike QI very much. It’s too much overall and no fun at all. I agree that the game has changed to the worse. Harvesting has become just annoying, I get 1000 popups and it takes forever when you get 3000fp, the 100fp limit is not adequate anymore.
Yep all the pop ups and the 100 fp limit is why I play much less now. And I told inno I won't be spending anymore money till they change these features. See if they care enough.
Yes, it collects all buildings in one go, so can surpass the 100 limit. However, if you're already at 100+ FP, it only will collect the buildings that don't produce any FP.
Auto collect is great. I have a little routine for city collections. I try to find a GB where I can bank all those lovely FPs. I pull a mass aid from inventory and bring everything up to top of its capabilities. Use BG on the best buildings. Then once my FP bar is back down to
Just add a box on the side of your screen when collecting something from your city. If you are done you can collect all the stuff you gathered once. Easy problem solved. You could even do the same for GbG or GE, it would save so much time to have no more popups
The problem is that every change they make benefit the higher-ranked players far more than the lower-ranked players. The parity is diminishing, and this is especially true in relation to guilds and GBG. The top 3 or 4 guilds will win every time because it's just a numbers game. There is no strategy.
@@guidodenbroeder935, that would only be the case as long as it remains a pure numbers game with no strategical element that might shift the balance of power to more shrewd guilds and players. But as it is, no such mechanism exists in FOE.
@UBERnerd14 That is what I have been doing . But they plunder my City . If that's not bad enough . They constantly report me for putting them on the ignore list . What else can I do ?
@UBERnerd14 They Reported me several times. Trying to get me banned from the game . Is there anything you can tell me about what we can do about troll people. Maybe make a strong video about it . Please?
Hi UberNerd 14 . I started doing what you told me to about the Troll people. I have basically emptied all of Global Chat . I didn't realize that there were that many unfriendly people on the FoE platform. But at least now I don't have to see their junk comments. Thanks for the information . Maybe now I can go back to enjoying the game.
What's the point of adding such "innovations" as even more levels of GE, when they've added a 5th, and made it so difficult that most of my Guild (and other Guilds we interact with) don't attempt it, because the effort/resources required are too high for the limited rewards we get back? I agree that the Dev's need to look at the game, seriously, but fear we are just going to get what *they* think the game needs (look at QI for how well *that* went)... instead of thinking about what real players (who aren't connected to the unlimited money making machine that Inno thinks FoE is) want from the game. Let's take Settlements, for an example... Probably a good idea on paper, but they are so time consuming, and take up more in-game resources, and some of them are very difficult to complete in good time, to try to get the "better" rewards (and even then, some of the rewards aren't actually worth having). Most of my Guild don't even bother with the Settlements now. It just isn't worth the extra time and resources... especially as FoE is supposed to be a game, a pastime... not a full time job (and I'd certainly expect better remuneration for a full time job, than anything we get in FoE, comparatively)! There are too many Events, that go on for too long, and often have long-winded game mechanics that take-up too much time. There needs to be more time between Events, to allow players to redevelop their cities, and recoup resources, and so on. Prizes need to be balanced too, and worthwhile having. Something as low value as "5 Forge Points" should never be offered as a prize. Let's have fewer prizes offered as "Fragments" too... or if some things continue to be offered as Fragments, lets not need 200 of them to make something that is only just worth having. How about Fragments of City Expansions, or Fragments of Diamonds? Heck, why not even more ways to obtain Diamonds, other than using hard earned cash (especially during a "Cost of Living Crisis")? That would be a great way to prove that Inno care about their customers/players! How about a system whereby we could "sell" or even "gift" Great Building Blueprints, and "Fragments" (or whatever) to other players (such as Guildmates, or those on our "Friends List")? Or even offer them for "profit" at the Marketplace? That could be an interesting additional aspect to the game, that might encourage players to actively seek additional Blueprints and Fragments, to trade. A new game mechanic that only needs to take-up as much time as the player chooses to put into it (or not at all, if they don't want to). Yes, a good proportion of the players want more challenges, but it has to be implemented well, fairly, and be balanced (and not be so complex that it deters players), and not mean the "cost" of everything goes up, whilst the rewards stagnate, or even reduce in perceived value. Take the changes to GBG - Disastrous for anyone who isn't a super-dynamic player in an Elite Guild. It was supposed to bring balance (better individual rewards that are more readily available)... but it has made the gulf between "Standard" and "Elite" Guilds even larger, and made it even harder to close the gap... and made individual rewards harder to get, because all Provinces are constantly locked by 1 or 2 powerful Guilds, in each round, so that there are no "hits" available. That doesn't make GBG an enjoyable challenge - it makes it an irrelevance, for many! But alas... that's what the Dev's think makes an enjoyable game. For some, maybe... for most, not at all!! Yes, the Dev's may be payers of the game too... but they aren't the average player, and that's the problem. They regard themselves as ordinary players, and so they think that what *they* want is what the average player wants. However, they aren't average players - they should stop assuming that they know (or pretending to know) what "real" players want. The needs and wants (and time available) of people who effectively get paid to play the game, are going to be very different to those players who are real customers with lives and jobs, and other calls on their time and money, outside of FoE... and anyone who doesn't understand that (or doesn't want to acknowledge that) really shouldn't be operating as a spokesperson for real players! The Devs, etc, are so concerned with "we need to change the game" (to bring in even more money - not for the benefit of players) that they don't actually consider if what they are choosing to change is actually an improvement, or even necessary, or is instead driving players (and therefore fee paying customers) away. I see that the Dev's are being "congratulated" in the comments, here, for "reaching out". They didn't do it because they care about the players, and want them to have a satisfying experience. Their motivation is to stem the flow of paying customers leaving the game. No one should be under any illusion about that! They have asked for feedback from players on a few occasions, which they then completely ignore - but at least they can say they asked, eh? QI was released into live, despite a majority of bad feedback on it, on the Beta server, etc. It was a similar situation for the changes to GBG, too - Inno Dev's have a history of it, unfortunately! But I suppose we should be grateful that they are now beginning to realise that they have created a problem... we just have to hope that they come-up with the correct solution!
I played for 5 years but have stopped when QI came live. I no longer want or can spend the time they require me to put in. It's sad but they lost me with the power creep. I'd love to update my city with better buildings, but not with what they expect me to complete.
Are they planning to do anything about the tedious and time consuming aspect of endless autobattle in GBG? This would be one area where increasing strategy could actually reduce the amount of time spent.
I agree that GBG is becoming tedious and drawn-out. I'm at the point where I don't need any more attack boost because I never get to the point where I really need it because I get bored and end up doing something else, or I just don't have time. The biggest roadblock for me in GBG now is the fact that it's monotonous and time-consuming, not attrition.
Great video! I'm a 7 year player, and this game is a chore lately. I stopped logging in daily because I don't have the time anymore. This gives me hope the devs are listening to feedback.
Personally I don’t mind taking my time with the game with all the city building and fighting. I do like when the events are simply as I think they should be just a fun mini game to play and not so much a brain buster as I want to get the max amount of rewards possible. And if the event is complicated and I can’t get it down right off rip then I often barley miss a few rewards. I do think they should raise the cap or Forge Points held to 1000. But maybe make it something you unlock threw the tech tree. I think they could add a lot of quality of life things you unlock In the tech tree and that would fix a lot of issues. Like maybe dont have hypothetical advanced auto battle in the early ages and then unlock the ability to have a pre loaded army for example in the tech tree
Has there been any talk regarding performance of game? Most specifically GPU memory leak in game. I have laptop with ryzen 7 5800H and nvidia 3070 with 8GB of memory, and every time i do around 200fights in GBG swapping units become very slow due to Dedicated memory usage of GPU jumped to over 2GB for single tab of browser. Refreshing browser does reduce GPU memory utilization down to 300MB approximately. Just to clarify i'm not talking about RAM memory but GPU VRAM seems to be mainly issue with this.
Thanks for highlighting comment, i've tried posting on discord channel but nobody responded and it just went out of sight. If anyone has tried some fix for this issue or if anyone else is having similar issue i'd be open for discussions as i'm not sure if this is something that happens only to me or it is general issue, i did try on desktop and on laptop both of which are nicely spec machines but seem to be suffering from same issues on all browsers i've tried this on.
GBG is the lifeblood of the game, generally speaking. Its the most fun and especially after GVG was concluded. The biggest issue we are having is, after the new GBG changes, we are down to just 2 competitive guilds. It used to he significantly more. That means the majority of the Championship Series, is no fun. Even if we matched with the one other competitive guild every season, it would get boring. The most attractive solution is to do multi world GBG match ups, just like GE currently is. It would bring life back to the game. All the side stuff, civilizations, QI, Events, they are ok but not why the active players are logging on. Were here to compete and right now, GBG is by far the current most exciting, thrilling way to do it... at least it used to be. Now it is once in a great while. That would be a key area with the most significant impact of gamer experience for Inno to work on. The other stuff is secondary.
So what happens if you get matched against yourself in GBG? Would you purposely lose races on one world so your other world succeeds? Or if you get matched with other guilds on the same world, you can much more easily chat to form alliances, giving you a massive advantage. There's definitely some points that would need to be figured out with cross world GBG :)
@@UBERnerd14 matched against "yourself" - I only play on one world. I'm guessing the majority of players are also one-player worlds. The same logic could be applied to GE which is a non-issue now. In short, that would be a minority issue with cons that are far outweighed by the pros. For the second point of teaming up, perhaps the simplest solution would be to create an algorithm that selects only one guild per world. There are more than enough worlds to create a diverse enough pool of Guilds where pulling more than one per world would not be needed.
This is the hugest truth of the game: being able to do thousands of repetitive auto battles does not make a feature enjoyable! I enjoy a lot more QI because you have limited actions and how you use them can benefit or not the guild + you don't require so much time + what you decided to put in your city really matters! GBG should be removed or change so we don't need to do thousands of battles to show our "city power"!
Auto battle is the worst part, no skill at all just slab a button for 30min and that's it. the main issue beside skill is it consumes so much time and feels like a chore rather than something fun. A quick fix which should help reduce the time is troop formation, give us a button that auto select unit ( 6 rouges & 2 spearmen for example) this should cut down the time a little bit
It is highly inconvenient that the collection of products takes place exactly once every 24 hours. It would be great if this interval could be reduced. Even once every 23 hours would be much more comfortable.
Little things can speed up the game. Reducing click boxes that do nothing - like the "OK" box after every negotiation. Or having a "collect all idols" in GE. Rivals was a bad idea. They need to get rid of that. Yet another "feature" that drains time. And put GBG back to how it was 2 years ago - not gonna happen, I know. Just a fools hope.
The popups during collecting is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen added to any game. Trying to make me upset and frustrated, so I spend 10 diamonds a day to auto collect is not a winning concept. It has made me think about quitting the game. Hope they get rid of that. Don't get me started on the subject of buildings being not motivated. They need to fix that as well. In a month or 2 when I run out of self aid kits I will definitely quite the game if not fixed.
Still, after all those weird "Pay2Win-Sales", I think FoE is one of the best games out there. And it's good to know, that the Devs actually care about what they do. Kinda rare Unfortunately
The BR Server is practically sinking due to the use of hacks, I don't know how the servers around the world are, but the BR server is basically all the top 1 guilds using hacks on several secondary accounts and winning all the championship prizes.. Support simply doesn't do anything despite several complaints and this is causing many to stop playing on the BR server
Rivals aren't "hard challenges" they're just simply "You either win or you don't" and that's why they're so horrible. If your city doesn't have 40 supply buildings and a ton of finish all productions stocked up you just lose. That's not difficulty. GE 5, there's no strategy. It's just insanely expensive to negotiate so it's just "is your city old? Yes or no." And for battling, it's the same way. Is your city old with multiple level 100 GB's? Congrats you win. No? You lose. That's not difficulty.
The rival challenges are very poorly designed. They are also one more of the same thing and that is just too much. Have an independent mission system instead, perhaps related to the new historical figures.
LOL they are human! that was a great comment. I do not get why they are having some much difficulty allowing us to collect out city, a new system? what was wrong with the old system where you click on a building and get the items, why introduce the pop-up in the first place? I nearly quit this game a year or two ago because of that pop-ups constantly stopping me from collecting, some of those 1x1 are hard to click on and who cares that I get blah as well, I know what I am getting I placed the building. thanks for the great video today!
The issue is that players should be able to see what they collect. The pop-up was introduced when they added buildings producing fragments. The new method is a lot more streamlined though
I actually did quit my city in part because of these constant pop-ups during collection. One summarizing pop-up at the end of your collection time should suffice.
the pop-ups are easy managed (on mobile) by using diamonds to collect all, diamonds = money = less annoyance because of the pop-ups... they knew what they do
The birthday event 2024 was so unbalanced. I managed to end up in the silver league (5%), but could not get the main price at full level. How is that even possible?
Probably history? And yeah, you had to make sure you were getting enough grand prize points, not just league points. Same thing happens with the wildlife/fall events sometimes, if you don't go for progress
Yeah . Right. Sure. They increased the Time in the settlements. By an hour. And then reduced the time to complete each settlement . This is not 🚫 good in any way, shape or form .
I'm not sure I understand why autobattle is bad. A good player or any player can do better with manual, but if I want to use the attrition/stats I've worked hard to get, the only way I can do that is with autobattle. As it is I rarely have time to max attrition out in all my worlds, or even one using auto and manual. I see strategy in how I set up my city, what sectors to go for which to avoid, what to build, what to play, and all over the place. So I just don't understand why this is a concern? The more they add, the more buildings all that, the more time it's taking me just to make quick rounds let alone REALLY do anything anymore. And rival quests just make it that much more difficult. Keep in mind, it's even harder for those of us in small guilds since we have to spend the same amount of treasury to build anything to help us, so we never can really be on even ground with others.
On my android with snapdragon 8 gen 1 It can't go over 30 fps with animations on, and its a gaming phone on extreme settings... maybe they should take a look over optimization as well
I guess I’m the odd man out but I don’t like the different military boosts for specific parts of the game. Too complicated. And confusing for new players.
Strategy vs. Time trade off I am fine with because strategy is interesting. This much fighting is not. GBG takes fighting time. QI takes fighting time. GE takes fighting time. Events take time but I enjoy them. Rival takes time and isn't interesting, just another layer of work. QI & GBG shouldn't happen at the same time. And it totally pisses me off that if I want to visit another guild I have to walk out on either a QI or a GBG mid-season. And what is this that they plan on adding? *%il$ $&. G*$%d I barely play in my other worlds now. I gave up on playing the summer event in beta. What do they think we want to spend 24 hours a day playing this game? Do they not know that it is not in a parasite's best interest to kill its host? Yes the game is a parasite, it lives off of us. If they destroy our real lives by making this require 24 hours a day to play it well, then we are left with the choice of destroying our lives (we stop playing) or removing the game from our lives (we stop playing). Many good players are exiting simply because the game makes them feel responsible to play too much and it's hurting their real lives.
As in pretty much every game, the random number generator is hopelessly autocorrelated. Run some 24hr productions and you will see it immediately. The odds of getting the same reward multiple times in a row are far too high. It is the same in event rewards and in battles, but you may not notice that so easily.
Fun fact - in reality, random numbers are more streaky than we think they should be. Track the odds, and you'll see they average out to the expected value.
@@UBERnerd14 The problem is not the eventual odds but the time it takes for them to average out, which is significantly prolonged by autocorrelation. Random numbers should not be streaky. Game programmers tend to make use of built-in RNG functions but those are no good. This is a known issue and coding solutions are available.
@@UBERnerd14 Today's Blacksmith collection: 100 coins, 100 supplies, 100 coins, 5 lumber, 5 lumber, 100 supplies, 100 coins, 100 supplies, 100 coins, 100 supplies. This shows the RNG oscillating at one end of the distribution.
I do not like all the fighting and decided not to even do some of the fighting parts of the game even though I will lose out, I DON'T CARE ANY MORE. I even thought I might quit. NEED MORE EXPANSIONS.
My biggest pet peeve is just How. Much. This. Has. Become. A. Pay. For. Play game. It's impossible to get decent event rewards, because either people are spending literally thousands of $$ or have mods and hacks to get the bonuses. It's just not enjoyable
At the moment there is *nothing* challenging in the game. I auto every GE5, auto to 250 attrition, city layout is full to the tile and optimal, max out quantum actions, and most GbG maps are full of dead guilds so just waiting for them to take tiles. The events are rock paper scissors and connect 4…. Hopefully something challenging is added or I will consider myself finished/complete of the game soon
UberNerd - thx for all your videos. I've NEVER commented before, but just the other day I sent a note to Support asking them to pass on my thoughts to Dev Team with questions about when (if ever) Inno was going to follow through on the announcement they made months ago about buffing/changing/enhancing some GBs to make them more relevant in light of Event building power creep. And now you had a conversation with FoE Head of Development. Did Matt/Tobi give any indication of when they may announce the changes to GBs?! I appreciate they or you cannot reveal which GBs and what the buffs will be, but many of us are already deleting GBs or holding off on further investing in existing GBs waiting for more info from Inno. Are we talking months/weeks/years? Thank you for any reply. I have a mid-level CoA I'd love to delete, but am waiting for further information.
The devs are clueless. Get whatever fun you still can from the game and then move on. There's no way they'll manage to make the game more fun and less tedious while pleasing all players and shareholders at the same time. Case in point: Too much busywork already? "Hey, players have a day where they've got nothing to do, let's have a repeat of the rival challenge to keep them busy!". And no, adding more shinies to whatever boring garbage they release does not make it more fun, just compelling. As time goes on, more and more players will get sick of their ineptitude.
Rival though is for me something completely different The one currently active is straight up impossible without planning ahead or using boosts It's not something you're able to build up the strength towards. They feel more like deliberate diamond sinks
Historical allies seems like a first step towards the generic hero leveling that is in every of the worst pay to win mobile games. I am not at all excited for it.
They dont give a F... about players. All they want is our money. You get addicted to this game but they keep adding things and if you want to keep up with rest you start to buy those frikin diamonds. That popups is just another way to use and buy diamonds, just 5 a day but still if everyday that's a lot, that's why they wont fix that. I played for over 3 yr now, but if they add another shit I consider just deleting the game
Great, so the game keeps changing... The mechanics, the rules, the buildings, etc... How on earth is one supposed to plan/play strategically in this game if everything they plan strategically just get foiled but constant changes. Don't get me wrong, games need to evolve, but this is out of hand, imo. And it's clearly money-motivated 😢
You're right. You can't plan. When you could still get diamonds in GE level 2, I spent half a year upgrading GG's so I would be able to finish level 2 on different worlds. When I finally was able to do it, they removed the diamonds from GE level 2. So I had done it for nothing.
The game has become boring for sure. It is so repetitive that it feels like homework. With GVG being taken away, I find myself contemplating ending my 12+ run in the game. I want to play a war game, but it isn't a war game anymore. GBG is a COOP where war is not a cooperative.
Weird that they answered your e-mail but not those of all those other players that e-mailed them. O wait, you make video's, so you're important, and those who don't do that, are not. Also: why didn't you tell them that Guild Battlegrounds still is unfair since it pairs up small guilds against really big ones?
Biggest thing they need to fix is stopping the ability of super guilds to be able to crush everyone on the GbG map in the first 1hr to a point you just can't challenge them . Leaving your only option to tank a round to drop levels to chase rewards
Agreed. They need to ban the guilds who tank to chase rewards. It's blatant manipulation of game mechanics
I really like the idea of alternating between CBG and IQ. Having just four days between CbGs is not enough, it's like it never stops...
Heck yes. The back to back BGs with 1 day break does my head in
Exactly what I have been thinking ~ Alternating GBg & QI would be excellent!
I would hate to close down some of my cities because I spent so much time and energy on them, but man, just harvesting 6 cities with a BG takes up nearly 2 effin hours of my life now. and then i haven't even touched GE, GBG and QI and the settlement yet!
yay! i really like that they reached out
Those damn pop-ups!!!
Should be like a month or two long at least?
foe helper isn't a bot. it doesn't manage anything for you.
1) They are human (fair enough)
2) They care about money. Lets be clear.
3) They play the game to the extent that it's required in order to program successfully.
Lastly, they want to make as much money as they possibly can. Lets not forget that their choices clearly reflect that.
Per 3 - they do legitimately play the game in competitive, top guilds on live servers.
@@UBERnerd14 I'll try to be more optimistic 🙂
@2:55 “Introduce more challenging components that you’ll have to work towards while also allowing you to still play and compete in the meantime.”
I think they could do something similar to what they did in the recent Heroes event, being able to pick from easy/medium/hard options so, let's say, everyone can play the same amount (not taking into account that if you played only the easy levels you “couldn’t” spend all the event coins), but those who can, play the harder levels for better rewards.
Increase the rewards (amount and/or value) based on strength not time, not based on how for long can you do certain things but whether you
Let’s say GE would just have 1 level but you can decide how strong you want your opponents to be.
My main problem is Great Buildings. They are quickly becoming obsolete compared to event buildings
Good to see them reach out. Surprising and encouraging move!
Even in the Bronze Age I already had this problem.
You can, 5 Diamonds instant colection
Should I delete my Blue Galaxy? Or does it collect the buildings i want first?@@hr.m885
@@lezking5060I think it is needed to have 0 FP when u do auto collect or at least used to be like that around St.patrick event
Would be great if we could put unwanted Blueprints into the Antiques Dealer
I'm gonna ruin the dealer with my thousands blueprints of the Arch
Thank you for this Uber, I really appreciate the time you dedicate to gather info and for being so kind to share it with the rest of us!
Auto collect. Collects it all. One single pop up. One GE 4 gem reward pays for it for over half a month. Started using it and never looked back.
@@150booyadragonbut does it work for more than 100FP? I am not going to use autocollect 30 times per day for my daily 3000FP.
The true issue here is that the game never ends, so those at the top will remain at the top forever.
@@guidodenbroeder935, that would only be the case as long as it remains a pure numbers game with no strategical element that might shift the balance of power to more shrewd guilds and players. But as it is, no such mechanism exists in FOE.
Hi UberNerd 14 .
What's your take on the Troll people in FoE ?
Can you please make a video to explain how to deal with Trolls ?
You ignore them.
Thanks uber as usual. Sounds good at all. But iam really concerned about their "balancing" Plans and specialized Citys.
Are they planning to do anything about the tedious and time consuming aspect of endless autobattle in GBG?
This would be one area where increasing strategy could actually reduce the amount of time spent.
We actually did talk about that! But right now I think they're still testing different ideas for what to do.
@@UBERnerd14 Cant wait for whatever idea they come up with
I agree that GBG is becoming tedious and drawn-out. I'm at the point where I don't need any more attack boost because I never get to the point where I really need it because I get bored and end up doing something else, or I just don't have time. The biggest roadblock for me in GBG now is the fact that it's monotonous and time-consuming, not attrition.
Leave the auto battles!
The GBG should limit the number of attacks and negotiations per day, say 7 of each per player.
Great video! I'm a 7 year player, and this game is a chore lately. I stopped logging in daily because I don't have the time anymore. This gives me hope the devs are listening to feedback.
Congrats on the recognition from Inno, well deserved!
The problem is they want that $30 a month from forge plus, so don't get your hopes up.
one of my concerns is that every primal challange requires the purchase of 50-80 fp. It won't be long before you can't keep up with that.
@@amunra_ nah...
Historical allies is wonderful
This is the hugest truth of the game: being able to do thousands of repetitive auto battles does not make a feature enjoyable! I enjoy a lot more QI because you have limited actions and how you use them can benefit or not the guild + you don't require so much time + what you decided to put in your city really matters!
GBG should be removed or change so we don't need to do thousands of battles to show our "city power"!
But the QI should not have a limit to the number of actions that you can save up.
That is good news :)
It is highly inconvenient that the collection of products takes place exactly once every 24 hours. It would be great if this interval could be reduced. Even once every 23 hours would be much more comfortable.
An easy place to start would be to allow more actions to be performed using the keyboard.
Or simply reduce the number of actions. E.g. replace the recurring quests with achievement rewards.
And that stupid quest, buy 5 FP's. Seriously, I have to dump all my FP's to complete a stupid easy quest?
@@trixietrx2346 I collect around 5K fps a day. Dumping all of them to pay 5 fps is infuriating
Great! :)

When are they adding the un-aid kit to use on neighbouring cities?
Did you ask when Will the next age Will be released? I'm curious to know what new great buildings will they add and what do they do
I didn't ask for the release date, but I think it should be a fun age ;)
what happened with silkweavers emporium after history event already started?
Great buildings are one of the biggest issues. They are too huge for the tile space and are horrifically underpowered
hello, i decided delete Kraken and Star Gazer both on 80lvl... it is any info about changing his boost in near future or it will be the same ?
We don't know which ones will have adjusted boosts.
Yeah . Right. Sure. They increased the Time in the settlements. By an hour. And then reduced the time to complete each settlement . This is not 🚫 good in any way, shape or form .
Congratulations. We are being duped.
I skip rival quests as they aren't worth it.
The only reason I help the guild with QI, which is boring, is because I can ignore it for 10 hours.
I m not convinced to play again. They missing the point that in order to be competitive u need to click thousands of times per day
On my android with snapdragon 8 gen 1 It can't go over 30 fps with animations on, and its a gaming phone on extreme settings... maybe they should take a look over optimization as well
The game is capped at 30 fps on mobile
@@UBERnerd14 without animations on, yes, with animation on, it dropped to 19, 20...
I guess I’m the odd man out but I don’t like the different military boosts for specific parts of the game. Too complicated. And confusing for new players.
yep, I agree, only different boost that makes sense is for IQ because you don't use your city age army...
@@wisequigon yes 100% agreed. Only makes sense for QI
Oscillating implies a cycle, which random numbers are not
@@UBERnerd14 Indeed.
You can always get the main building for free. No need to spend. I never have.
Do something with the GB it’s pointless leveling them up if they’re not for GBG
I don't know a timeline, just "soon"
So nice they didn't answer you, but did answer Uber. What's the difference between you and Uber? Why is Uber more important?
Heart of the Rift and other top guilds caught cheating. Will Inno games allow this? Wait and see if they address it or not.
Rival though is for me something completely different
The one currently active is straight up impossible without planning ahead or using boosts
It's not something you're able to build up the strength towards.
I played for over 3 yr now, but if they add another shit I consider just deleting the game
gate just feels outdated
GBG is a COOP where war is not a cooperative.
bro u moving up in this world
Weird that they answered your e-mail but not those of all those other players that e-mailed them. O wait, you make video's, so you're important, and those who don't do that, are not. Also: why didn't you tell them that Guild Battlegrounds still is unfair since it pairs up small guilds against really big ones?
Get rid of Quanton incursions. Its a total waste of time. Its for students and unenploid people
