@@Yosemite-George-61 Happy New Year. Initially passed on the 104 obviously looks like a short moment arm. If we cut the nose off maybe not as much. Low AR for sure would keep it from a good efficiency but doesn't have a swept plan form. Build the nose light would be prone to damage, tail weight most likely. Might need that beer ahead of time as a down payment.
@@tross1964 I have done a little bit; unfortunately the spring winds have not been favorable here in the SouthWest... I've built a Jet Provost and a Heinkel 178 from kits and look forward to more flying as summer approaches!
@@tmathews180 This one came out 2 grams under weight @13.5 painted and balanced. I added some CF strip under the wing to bring the AUW and it felt a little better for CLJ. It wouldn't need the CF for CAP and would still be in the 15-16.5 window if ±5 grams. Will send em this week. Am re-building due to thermal flyaway. Thanks again.
Very great flight and model...have you a building plan?
Wow. This flies better and longer than most rubber powered models of the same scale. Would really appreciate a build vid with tips man.
I like when you can see it hit the rising air. Very gratifying. Keep building them!
Very impressive! Thanks for posting this.
Thank you William. Do you fly cat jets?
Well, first I said "not another geek with a computer!" then I saw the flight... awesome!
Well Jorge I do have a computer and my friends think I'm a bit of a geek .... Thanks for the comment I hope all is well there. 🙂
@@tross1964 ...make an F-104S, trim it, then send me the plans... I'll buy your beer when we meet. Happy New Year!

75 seconds wow, will this start a craze for twin boom gliders!
Thanks Steven. I hope it catches on!
beautiful
Flies really well, well designed, pity we still can't get the Rapier rocket motors, then you could power it.
Didn't think of that. It would be a blast with a Rapier. Thank you.
Very nice!
Thanks David. Have you had a chance to fly some jet cats. :)

@@davidduganne5939 It won't be long now. Those should be great fliers.
Do you have a plan? I'd like to make a capacitor electric version
No not really t. Yes we should get together and come up with a good cap glider. How much does your unit weigh.
@@tross1964 I'll weigh it but I think it's approximately 5 grams. You can email me at tmathews180@gmail.com

Oh sorry. Meant to ask. How much thrust are we talking.
@@tross1964 Id be interested in doing a kit for this one ... do you have some drawings that we could adapt for Cat as well as capacitor power?
Plans please
All I have is some layout currently. There has been some interest in a full plan so maybe I can get that done. Thank you.
