I'm finding it hard to express just how excited I am for this game. The virtue system captures the flavor of this era in a way that no other wargame I've tried has managed and seems to provide for some really interesting tactical decision making. The way that "special rules" are handled by cards rather than bloating the core rulebook is just brilliant, and the ability to build warbands that have real character seems so cool. Thanks for demoing this game. I really hope this game makes it big, because I definitely want to see what these designers continue to come up with!

Really enjoyed this and my copy of the rules arrived today too! Some complexity there to get my head around but it looks deep, fun and narrative!

We get close ups of the dice but not the miniatures ....

They are mostly working with Perry Brothers plastic and metal renaissance miniatures.

I think later videos give you more model close-ups! They are mostly Perry plastics though!

i can accept that im the only one in this but here it is: I think that your setup for filming is pretty bad. you either see the table from the side and understand nothing or from high top with bad light and understand nothing. just take a day and look at other battle reports being filmed and steal some ideas. this was sufficient in 1999.

I have to agree.... I was super excited to see this come through on my feed.. and I just don't know that this angle of the table and cut shots back and forth from the dice tray to the side view does this game any justice or helps "sell the game" ... the table is too larger for the field of view and for the # of models on the table... it is nice to put on as far as audio "demo" of the game and it is good to see the players (Gerry) and designers talking through the game, but the actual video of what is going on with the models is hard to follow and not visually engaging.
