Probably one of the harder Bluecoats snare features, all them tackle different skill sets but it seems like this one took all of the snare features (2011-2015) and combined them. Fantastic playing Davis, especially on that 4-let 32nd note roll. Hope to you see you March with them soon.
I'm curious why that 4-let is shown as a 4-let. You are basically playing two half notes in the span of 3 half notes in 3/4 time, shouldn't it be a 2-let?
It’s honestly insane that they clean it that good
Yeah man!
I still remember playing this in one of our shows. I got the full solo, and let me tell you, it was one of the coolest parts of that whole year.
That’s cool man
What do the little minus looking signs above the notes mean?
@@austindeignan9063it’s a tenuto accent think like normal accents but play them softer

Can’t believe it’s been almost 10 years since the DCI uniform revolution.
It's funny you say that I was just talking about it with a co-worker of mine
They just shredded it and sent it into outer space with a bow on it.
And the irony of this performance is he is now performing with the Coats
My favorit show from blue coat

Yea see that’s why I’m sticking with front ensemble
This reminds me that the music playing before the break is what my high school is playing for their show, and the part after the break
wanted this since the beginning lol
Sad you cut out the crazy brass hit 😢
Lmao
Are the double strokes played from the forearm-fingers or fingers only?

Wow! Such talent I love the movie 🥁 Drumline 😳😃
sheesh
To this day, I don’t know why it’s so popular
The beginning of that break was super dirty if we want to be honest. Great playing by you though.

No. It is a standard 4:3 in a bar of 3.
Hardly the most famous. Too many to choose from.
It’s definitely the most known and played snare break
Most famous of the last few years, most people aren't learning breaks from the 90s and 2000s, my kids aren't clamoring to learn BD 03 unfortunately
@@dylancatlin1329 yeah I mean they’re famous, but this break is easily the most posted break of all time
