    If you use the motor shroud you can mount the one-off switch..It screws to it..You can also take the shroud lid off and a motor fan fits right in it's place.

      Thanks for tip bud. I’m following the manual step-by-step for this series. I’ll be getting the recommend hop-ups near the end and do a follow up video later.

    Did you solve the gearing issue? I think the motor mount is not compatible with 28 tooth gear. And when you continue counting holes after 25 you actually are making it tighter. I would put 25 or smaller gear for the test. Might be wrong though.

      You are correct. I used the same motor mount on the TT-02RR build using a 29T pinion gear. However, the spur was 64T. I didn't realize the issue until this episode during testing. I will make a follow-up video to address that. I should have used a 22T pinion but all I had was the 28T. Thanks for catching it. Thanks for watching my videos.

      @@RCsRCCars my pleasure. I am waiting for my tt02sr. The shop hasn't ship it still though. I am fairly new to the RC hobby. Have traxxas 1/16 e-revo, and now the tamiya looks a little flimsy with these plastic gears and diffs. No idea how durably it will be. I ordered 4600kV motor for it and hope will not strip the gears too quickly. :-)

    Where did you get the key for building the steering linkage/turn buckle? My thumb hurt a lot every time I build a kit. thanks!

      I got that inside a 3Racing kit. Look for ball cup drive on Amain for something similar.

    Thanks for the video. It was very helpful. Can the extra/orange wire coming from the esc be cut off?

    • @RCsRCCars
      @RCsRCCars  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can cut it off but you should save it in case you want to upgrade to a brushless motor.

    Hey nice videos, real thorough and detailed. Just wondering what is the difference between the tt02 RR and the tt02 SR .... as of now I have a spare tt02 stock with the red chassis and I’m trying to get the Yeah Racing Aluminium conversion kit and get some of the hop up pieces from either the SR or RR...what do you think?

    • @RCsRCCars
      @RCsRCCars  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is my own opinion based on building and driving both the SR and RR. RR for speed runs, SR for track racing. The SR is easier to tune and add hop-ups like anti-roll bars. If I could only buy one, I would buy the SR. Ironically I sold the SR and kept the RR. I wish I did the other way around.

      I have my eye on a POPULO 4V one as a replacement if this one ever breaks. I put a link in the description.
