To maintain the sterility of a syringe: two parts cannot be touched? Correct Answer should be: C. tip and plunger. The outer part of the barrel is what you touch and hold to apply pressure on the plunger. Inside the barrel is what stores the liquid to be dispensed. The plunger is the shaft inside the barrel. When pressure is applied on the plunger, the volume of the liquid in the barrel reduces. This liquid gets pushed out of the barrel tip where a needle is attached to. Bottom line: the barrel tip must be kept sterile at all times to prevent contamination. Use the plunger top to push liquid through the barrel and avoid touching the plunger by any means during compounding.

Hii Antoine! Oh yay your exam is very soon😀 I’m glad to read you’re very confident! That’s extremely important having doubt will mess you up. (That’s how I was for my second exam🤦🏽♀️). Have you been taking any practice test? I would do that and time myself making sure I’m not going passed the time that’s given also helps seeing how questions can be worded.
@@ItsDricaaa I been doing pocket prep quizzes and monitored and ptcb workbook full with 1000 practice questions. Created a PowerPoint for of practice questions and questions I need to focus on and overall general questions. Trying to study much as possible. Plus. Been using your sources has been a very big help especially the math cheat sheet which I use. Thank you so much for the look out and helping others with the PTCB . You been awesome! 😁😁
