How did you get your drive shaft in so easy..? I'm doing the exact same job and the right side shaft goes into the differential about 80% of the way, then won't budge a millimetre more. The splines are aligned and rotating the shaft moves the opposite shaft. I've tried cleaning the splines, greasing and hammering without luck.
Hi Stefan, There is a bearing about 3/4 way on the shaft and a collar plate with 3 bolts holding it in. Did it sit in properly? I can't remember if the 159 has a c-clip on the end of the spline, some other cars do. The 159 do not have if I remember correctly. Sometimes have to be changed. I have done this twice and every time is smooth out and in. Hope this helps. Let me know what happens. Cheers!
