The photo of Sean doing an impression of a Koala being fingered is forever etched into my mind… Rest in Peace Sean, the laughter you lived for lives on.
It's a wonderful story isn't it. Damn it's sad he's gone
Making Stephen Fry laugh is on my "gold achievement bucket list."
Thank you, Sean, for getting me through my worst depression episodes.
The hardest thing about when a comedian passes away is that I feel so wrong laughing at them still. RIP Sean 🧡
Quite literally, it's what he would have wanted. He was born to entertain, passing away doesn't mean he can't still do that.
Try laughing with them
If anything, you're honouring them by appreciating their work even after they've passed.
I aspire to be a comedian someday, and personally can't think of a better homage than for people to still enjoy the work I once put so much passion into.
Uhm I think that was his adult life...to make us laugh...why feel bad for laughing cause he was just dead
well, he at least left us a great legacy
even when he's no longer here, he can still make us laugh
that makes him a great comedian, i suppose
No Dalai Farmer? That was possibly the best one line joke in Qi history.
It shure was.
The rural Buddha
@@samadhoosen6014 exactly what I was going to write
When I heard the news, I was glad i was in the middle of nowhere, because the scream rattled my car windows. Such a tremendous loss. Thank you for everything Sean.
Boy, I have been watching so many Sean Lock videos over the last few days but that 'In Memory of Sean Lock' hit me like a punch in the guts, eyes watered immediately. He's really gone.
Sean didn't die, he just entered the QI set portal to the underworld to help koalas work out so they could have firmer buttocks. RIP
And more rice
So they can then be thrown onto a sea of frozen methane.
And, thus, the comedy torch is passed on.
He, Linda Smith and Jeremy Hardy are forming a QI panel in the afterlife
It's what he would have wanted.
I hadn't heard he died, so I was shocked when I saw the "In Memory of Sean Lock" at the end.
Rest in peace, man. You brought me many good laughs over the years.
Started looking for this as soon as I heard the news, RIP Sean Lock what an amazing guy
It was a formative moment in my appreciation of comedy when I realised Sean was my favourite QI regular. Every time he was on, he came out with something that has lodged deep in my head all these years later. Not just the big laugh moments, and there are many of those, but the little throwaway remarks as well. E.g. “I’m gonna be so rich” which I still say whenever I have a daft idea. I hope his family and friends can at least take some solace from the outpouring of love and respect that has followed the terrible news. We will not see another like him again.
Having Sean in any show always lifted the mood and got a giggle. RIP Sean.
I’m Canadian and I don’t know much about Sean Locke except for the few times where I saw him on QI. The last few days, I’ve been watching many tribute videos in his honour and have been laughing quite a bit. My condolences to those who miss him. Do not forget the laughters.
Tragic loss. RIP Carrot in a Box Champ.
Agreed, in memory. He was pretty great, we all liked him.
Love from Kentucky to all those who knew and loved Sean. Tears are flowing in the Bluegrass State.
The passing of a legend! Sean Lock the world is alot worse off without you!
My favourite Sean moment on QI was him getting sucked in the portal into the underworld - while listening to Rory McGrath and Stephen Fry argue over Latin! 🤣🤣
Being stuck listening to McGrath was purgatory.
Sean was **escaping** to the underworld.
@@telectronix1368 I don't bloody blame him! Lol I was considering opening up a portal myself listening to that! Thankfully Sean was there to save us all! Legend!
Thanks for the laughs Sean - there will never be another comedian quite like you. You will be sorely missed.
Was so glad to see such a heartwarming series of memories Sean gave us over the years. Thank you for putting this up Rest In Peace
We will miss him. The world needs more Sean Lock, not fewer. #RIPSeanLock
If it's any consolation, the world is a better place because Sean was here. Better to have loved and lost and all that...
I didn’t know what to say and then read this and realized you said it for me. Thank you. ☺️
'Fewer' doesn't make sense there.
@@NumberOneChin Maybe appreciate the spirit of the message rather than the grammar. The implication is to have a world where there are more good and decent people and less horrible and mean people. It does not help the world when a decent person dies of cancer and some asshole lives to be ninety.
@@TheAppleLoadout See, now in your message, 'fewer' would have made sense. ;)
Still can't believe Shaun is gone he was such a genuine nice and funny bloke a propper geezer I seen him once in Coventry and said hello thinking id get ignored as he was busy with what I don't know but he still said hello and wished me a good day no matter how much fame Tv give him it never turned him ignorant like most lost a true legend
THE BEST quick one-liner comedian! His quick a funny responses were legendary
One of the very few comedians I had to pause the video to wipe the tears from my eyes so I could continue watching.
That ending was *Perfection*
How amazing to be missed by so many people you haven’t met when you die, he must have been amazing to have know for real.
Comedians don't die. God picks the best ones to do a sets in heaven. RIP Sean Lock. Love you
Thank you QI and all involved. Not only a brilliant show, but to be able to watch Sean Lock again.
His family won't see this but I'd like to say he brought joy to so many. I am rarely affected by the death of a 'public' person, but I was so much so by the death of Sean Lock.
He made and left the world a better place.
Sean's funniest appearance was when he was relentlessly teasing Stephen about his Prep school outfitter .. just hysterical!
Thank you for putting this together. Wonderful to see all his best bits and his bizarre ad lib humour once again. He will be sorely missed. A remarkable man with an addictive, fun personality.
Poor guy... you never know what people are dealing with privately. We lost a shining star in this man, rest in peace.
Crying tears of sadness and happiness from NZ . Thank go for TH-cam ....he will always be with us .
One never knows the true worth of a human being, until he/she leaves us forever.
Rest in Peace Sean. You will be dearly dearly missed.
You can do. You just have to decide to. Try it, look at someone in a new way, appreciate them before they are gone, it's a much better use of your time :-)
I'm currently on a Sean Lock binge,it's only when they're gone you truly miss them and see just how funny they were.RIP wherever u are Sean!
RIP Sean Lock (April 22, 1963 - August 16, 2021), aged 58
You will be remembered as a legend.
Sean will be the pinnacle of wit and humor in my eyes. I will always love him for that
Sean Lock is honestly the first comedian that made me do the silent crying laugh just from his rants. He truly broke me with something he did on 8 out of 10 cats does countdown. I will truly miss this amazing person.
The whelks had me crying. God it was funny.
@@zapkvr His Rectum of the Year anecdote on Cats does Countdown is pure comic genius
Love the QI TV show. Bless Sean Lock and all who love him x
I feel like the world has lost its most fun uncle. We'll miss his stories. Always brightened my day.
A genuine comedy genius. It's a sadder world without him.
For sure his appearances on QI were memorable. A funny, funny guy. R.I.P.
There must be a word for this sadness and bitter sweet laughing at Sean’s brilliance, but I don’t know what it is.
You can always see the wheels turning. Such a brilliant, funny mind. We'll miss you, Sean.
Damn, only found QI in Jan 2022. Sean was one of the first who stood out the most. Will be missed
A sad day for comedy. RIP Sean thanks for the memories.
"SEAN'S ALIIIVE!"
In our hearts you'll always be
even before he died, I always felt there wasn't enough of Sean Lock and now he's gone and like Dave Allen, we'll have to watch him over and over and over again
This hits you like a brick wall. Sean added a little extra light to the world
Proper legend. Sleep well, Sean.
Thanks QI, much appreciated. RIP Sean Lock. Man, a lot of people are missing you.
Great compilation guys. Honestly got lost in Sean's brilliant comedy watching this and that last bit hit me like a sledgehammer. RIP Sean, you'll be missed!
Sean was fantastic. Such a talent.
All the best Sean - God bless!
I was really enjoying this video and at the end the "in memory of Sean Lock" really hit me hard. I was so amused by this video that I had actually forgotten that he had passed for a moment.
Still getting choked up now.
Just a brilliant human being.
RIP. It's been days and I'm still so sad.
Respect…Sean Lock.
I agree completely with Stephen….when he was on..the show was tantalising wonderful.
Bless & less we forget…
I can't believe he isn't with us anymore, rip and strength to his family
I love that he all called Rory out and finally got him to shut up with an amazing gag
"Sean's aliiiive!"
:(
Thank you, Sean
Lock's humour was always spontaneous, often generated 'in the moment', and hilariously funny - the mark of a rare, genuine comic genius.
