I can hardly think of any other equally irreplaceable gem of a personality in any country's history. I love Sean Lock and I regularly revisit the videos featuring his brilliant, one-of-its-kind wit. Sorely missed, indeed.
The Tiger who came for a pint should be available to buy!! Brilliant life hack at the end..Save money on fireworks by rubbing your eyes!!. Priceless. Sean you will be so sorely missed. An absolute comedy legend !!
No matter which comedian's are in the line up, Sean was always the funniest and quickest. You can't top when he genuinely has his fellow comic's pissing themselves... an absolute genius and legend. Will never tire of watching his clips.... legends never die x
I grew up watching the greats, too many to name in the 60/70s as well as golden oldies like the Marx Bros, Dean and Jerry, Mae West... I think my comedy pinnacle was when Sean begs Joe Wilkinson to stop reading his immortal poem "I Just Named Your Penis" because he can't breathe. Anyone who could reduce that absolute immortal to tears of laughter gets high praise in my ratings.
I don't think I'll ever get over the loss of Sean Lock. We all love a laugh, and he delivered more than anyone. His tangent skipping and juvenile wonder will always be a huge source of tears and creasing up with laughter for me, time after time. 😂❤😂❤😂❤
Not only that, but he was one of those comedians where you could know *exactly* what's coming and you still laugh almost as hard as the very first time you saw it. Truly a remarkable man gone too soon.
The Tiger Who Came for a Pint really is one of the greatest parodies of anything ever made. And Sean would have made a very good children’s narrator, in the Ringo Starr mould.
What an amazing man that didn't deserve to pass away in his 50s. His kids didn't deserve to lose their father. Cancer is devastating. 😢💔 Even comedians loved him, being a comedian that can make other comedians laugh hysterically 😂 ❤
@@ripdbtpoo1441 then explain the many people who have never smoked in their lives & suffer from lung cancer. Yes smoking makes the chances much higher but it's not that simple, unfortunately.
@@ripdbtpoo1441 Well, I still don't think you or other smokers deserve to get cancer, even though you knowingly take a risk. Obviously, hoping you stay cancer-free!
Legend and genius are used too often for all and sundry. In Sean’s case, they are the perfect words for a comedic giant. RIP Sir and thanks for so many laughs.
Shiiiiiiit, I miss this man like he was a member of my family. Hope he's chillin on the other side in the pub with a pint smoking a cig inside like it should be, making everyone laugh there faces sore. Fuckin Legend.
My Mum had a dream about her Dad (who had passed away), and was sitting with his 3 brothers in a comfortable pub. He told her, "I can have my baccy in my pipe here, and my glass of ale. Don't worry about me!" So, based on that, there is the best pub ever on the other side, where we meet our old friends and relatives who went ahead of us and we can enjoy a smoke and a drink with them.
Oh Sean, you are so greatly missed. Thankfully "TH-cam" (others are available) can remind us of this great man's talent and youngsters can experience REAL COMEDY.
Still miss Sean. Found him only about a year before he moved on. "The Tiger who came for a pint" "thats a challenging wank" , fruit arrangement with Ghee, his old love letters and magazines like "Lapsed Catholic". Quality. Side note, Rachel Riley . . . Phwooor. 🇦🇺
My favourite Sean Lock joke is when he was waiting outside the school gates to pick up his nephew. Another parent asked him, while watching the infants career around the playground with abandon, which one's yours. He said, I haven't made me mind up yet. Well, it still makes me cry now. I still yearn for that straight man lead in when picking up my grandchildren from school. Although it may not appeal to the more modern tattooed, vaping, itching for an argument type guardian, it still tickles me.
The amount of effort and prep work Sean put into these books. I reckon he could have sold them in WHSmith's and they would have been pretty successful too
Lol surely, if "The Tiger Who Came for a Pint" and the rest existed as printable props for this episode - it can be printed for sale for us to buy! Or even some crafty fan's screen-grabbed version of it? It woul be priceless!
He got me through lockdown when my housemate couldn't come back. I would smoke a spliff and put him on to fall asleep too. I miss him, like a charming uncle.
That gambling advice is really good, 1) because it's hilarious and 2) because it's probably what they tell themselves, and hopefully this might bring a moment of clarity. I believe you can do it. ❤
As a smoker I 100% agree with Sean’s smoking self help book, brutally correct. But does negate the second book how to stay fat. Choose one :) RIP the goat.
Miles's outburst of laughter as Sean said he was working on something was so perfectly timed 🤣
He always Laughed when Sean said something. I think he was a fan
