While listening to Star Talk episode of Brian Greene (I believe), what he said was that the Higgs Boson imparting mass on other massless particles happens in the specific context of a particle being a free particle and not in the context of it being in the nucleus (?), is that right if I have understood it correctly and if so what does that mean?
