Moved to an apartment in Las Colinas back in the 1990's as a single mom with 2 kids. After 3 years, I was able to buy a house in Valley Ranch. I loved living there. Was in Texas for 7 years before moving back to Oklahoma. Dallas area is a great place to be. Enjoy!
Pad Split might also help people find housing in Dallas. They rent rooms @ a weekly rate. There pretty reasonable and no credit checks. However, they do background checks. Hope this helps someone.
Girl!!! It was meant for me to find your page. Your video randomly popped up when I logged in. I’m in the process of packing to move me & my son to Dallas. I just got finished reading Identity Switch by April Mason. It’s such a good book! I has to pause the video and comment real quick ❤
Ahhhhhhhhh congrats sisssss!!! I know it can be scary but the fact that you’re doing this shows how much you are really capable of!! You’re going to look back and be like wow!! I really did this!! I’m still doing it and I’ve been here for 3 months lol dm where are you staying?
@@spirituallylovingme-11 yess at the moment i took a break from TH-cam, but i have been posting on TikTok @oh.itstiffany you can follow me there for any updates. Thanks again 🫶🏾🫶🏾
Congratulations again! I am looking to move to a luxury apartment in my area but right now my funds don’t make it possible, I am applying to a few wfh jobs a day and promoting my business everyday, trying to keep the faith!
Thank you!!! Congratsssss you got this girllllllll it’s going to pop exactly when it needs to some days are better than others but it will work out. I currently have no furniture still 😂😩, but listen we have to work with what we have
Hi, can you please tell me how I can rent a place in Dallas even though I have no credit history or renting history? I also have no proof of income but I can pay rent. I would be so thankful for your help! I have four children, age four and under.
Hello ty this video was very informative and appreciated I want to move to Texas it’s been on my mind for quite some time but I have a question you didn’t move there with furniture how would you recommend I do it sell my furniture and go or try to move with my furniture my budget is limited so I’m trying to go with the cheapest way if there is one 😊
Honestly, just think about your budget i say if you can sell some of your furniture because bringing everything with you will cost a lot, bring what you can and if you can’t bring much then sell it. I had nothing but two suitcases and still slowly buying everything. So i say think about your budget if it’s not in your budget then yea sell it.
You’re beautiful 😍. I love living here downtown Dallas. It’s the best thing I could have ever done leaving Mississippi. Engineering and tech is the best out here. The black community here is small tho and rough competition. #single
So you actually didn’t live in Texas for 2 months, but you applied during that time and then moved to Texas after you got a job with more than $300 bc you said you had credit cards. Why lie. Smh
I’m sorry i think you’re confused. It took me 2 months to move to texas. After i left Bali I went to NY- while in NY i was applying to jobs. I got an interview and made it to the second interview after the second interview i was confident that I was going to get the job so i booked my flight. Some people would actually wait until they get an offer letter. I didn’t get the offer letter until i got to texas, not knowing if i was even going to get one. So no i didn’t have more than 300$ i actually had 300$ and had credit cards but you can’t use credit cards everywhere you go. So i said that in the video and told you exactly how much you should actually save.
Of course!! Some of the areas you could look into is Addison, oak lawn, McKinney, Richardson, Allen, downtown, uptown, Arlington, this is a few but again think about the lifestyle you want to be in what you want to be around, what do you want your day to day to look like to get you a feel of where exactly you want to plant yourself.
@@tiffanymarie_ gotcha! I’ll check into these areas and go from there! I’m basically looking for something low key and family oriented but be around a lot of things to do on the weekends.
