Oh wow, with that dovetailed rear sight I can see a mini Picatinny rail on it. Or an adapter plate for a micro red dot sight! It's absolutely beautiful too!
100%. I’d even accept the conversion cylinders being available separately. If we see that, the SDR is almost certainly going to find itself being my next purchase.
@@anthonyguidas2012 I emailed Diamondback through their website last week and unfortunately received a response that they have no plans for this as of yet. I think most revolver peeps would prefer this option as long as the additional cost is not out of line.
@@anthonyguidas2012 I messaged diamondback through their website last week and the reply was that they had no plans on doing this anytime soon unfortunately. I think most revolver geeks would love the option of an included 9mm cylinder.
I’ve been waffling around on making the decision for a weeks to order the SDR and have seen so many commenting on other YT videos that there should be a longer version. I finally “pulled the trigger” last night and ordered the 2” and had no idea the 3” was released just days ago until today.😂 Oh well I think I’ll like the 2” better anyway because I plan to conceal carry, and I like to do that as easily and discreetly as possible.
The only problem is you still can get one of original 2in sdr. From Sports South or RSR been waiting over a year. In that time supposedly they have released a bead blasted finish, a high polish with wood grips and a black nitrided. But still can't find any at any distributors. I have left comments on the company website with no response. I was interested in the gun but the company has shown me all I need to know about them. I bought a colt and haven't looked back. Diamondback doesn't have time for me and I don't have patronage for them. Buyer beware.
The original model that came out in 2024 is still unobtainable. So why should I get excited about the fourth model that's due in 2025. Or the fact that the company won't communicate with a patron.
This looks VERY nice, but I cannot justify to buy another 357 revolver. On the other hand, I have not found any 3" 9mm revolver that I like, so I'm hoping that you will also have this in 9mm!
@@DiamondbackFirearms Ok, thank you. 9mm is great for range prinking because it's not as expensive as 357 or 38 special and it's more powerful than 22lr. While 2" 9mm snob nose is practical for carry, it's not so good for prinking.
Then don't complain when the prices are higher, high polished deep royal blued (like the Python) does not come cheap. You better put your money where your mouth is on this one.
@@smithn.wesson495 Did he say high polished blued? No he said a simple blued finish, Ruger has been offering a blued finish for the same price (sometimes less than a stainless finish). I also would like to see a SDR with a blued finish.
@@DiamondbackFirearms Great to hear ,waiting for a black one to come in.Will you be offering cylinders seperately for those that already own 357 and want 9mm and vice versa? I really like the direction your company is heading. Thank you for the direct response as well, shows you care what we out here think about you!
The 3" is the king of revolver sizes
Nice👍 3" is the right choice.

Was going to get the 2 inch..till I found this video 🎉😂❤thanks...
And now you can get both! :)
It would be great to have a 357/38 with 9mm conversion cylinder package!

Someone online told me that that’s something they may be doing in the near future so keep your eyes open. It might happen.

they say it is available now
That is just ridiculous......Wow!!!! Diamondback hit a grand slam with this one and hands down one of the best new releases for 2025.
Thank you!
I have the 2 inch and just ordered the 3 inch today. I have 5 other 3" 357's can't wait to compare
I'm so glad a 3" bbl version is available but I might hold out to see if a 327 Fed Mag will be in the works ... I'm hoping ...

Those lines are clean
Yes!!!! NOW I am going to buy one
Good job my favorite Firearm company. 🎉
Thank you!
Nice. Ditch the hammer spur as that's about as good as a fighting revolver gets.
327 federal magnum please!

You’re surprised a new model from a manufacturer is sold out?? That shouldn’t be shocking. It’s for retail on gunbroker, chill.

No current plans for a 3" 9mm, but that doesn't rule it out as a potential future product!

Add a 9mm cylinder swap option then you're talking .
Not a fan of the polished finish. Blue it and I’d be all over it!

How bout making some more 2" ers to go around before you tool up for this?
We're building and shipping out more 2" SDRs every day.

This guy needs to lay off the caffeine, speaks like an auctioneer!

Buyer beware
Did you need warranty work done for one?
What makes you say this?
Shut up and take my money....!!!!!!! Beautiful firearm
