Man this game gave me even more hype for some game adventure related, this Dream’s game is so well done, and I also really like the mechanic where you get the red rings and you unlock skins for Sonic, like Movie Sonic, Classic, etc. And also, there’s a discord server from them ? What is that server ?
Dreams is honestly underrated like it’s amazing what you can do with it, it even has VR support, I’ve been using it to create my own battlefront 2 that is actually inline with the originals and not what we got with dices “battlefronts”
Sonic Venture plus feels like a natural progression of the Adventure style from SA2, as someone who's never fully been into any other sonic game than SA2 that made me extremely happy. I was smiling like an idiot the whole time playing.
I love Sonic Venture! I’ve been following it since Dreams released publicly and it is easily my favorite Sonic game in Dreams and the Sonic game I go back to. I can tell you there were more skins you can use like his SA2B and Black Knight models and the Link costume but they’ve been removed they might return, I don’t know but you can see them. With every Dreams game you can go into the section called “versions & releases” which lets you visit revisit all the past versions of the game so you can see how much the game has changed over time including hubs and mechanics. I recommend checking out the past versions of Sonic Venture to see just how hard the people in this project work on this game and how much they’ve improved. In how much I’ve played I also picked up tips, holding X and O will let you drop down without bouncing, and there are settings with the Spindash where R2 is the charge dash and Square is kinda like a small boost,. You can also do the drop dash and mix it with the bounce for hight and momentum.

He should cover sonic world, it’s also has adventure style gameplay, different characters, lot of stages and mods would make it even better. Cause the mods act like additional content then they do replacing models or stages with the stages you already care about.

That's not the point, tho: it really seems awesome and, like you said, the idea of the return of an adventure style game is amazing. About that, though, for the 30th anniversary, a commemorative adventure game feels like a perfect fit. Not even a very big one, it doesn't need to have a gigantic plot, just something on the same vein of Adventure 1: a simple, yet well executed story, with stakes and some character development. Add some tweaked and fixed gameplay styles (I'd love Tails' and Knuckles' gameplay style to come back) and voilá! The Adventure games get the Mania treatment. My brain is already booming with ideas of how this could mean a future for the franchise based on the three gameplay styles (Boost, Adventure and Mania), as well as games with more serious or more lighthearted plot, but I am getting ahead of myself. (plus, this would all be nothing without the return of the Riders series. #BringBackSonicRiders)
You talk about being lost. But I haven't seen anything as bad as the swamp ruins of Sonic '06. The only saving grace is that you use Silver, Tails, or Rouge to navigate it. Even then, it's a nightmare if you pause and forget where you were.
I don't have dreams still but have been thinking about buying it buy Idk I just might considering how cheap it is now and because I could have a lot if fun exploring things people have made and maybe even to inspire my own game on the platform who knows
If you have Twitter, have you tried updates through Wario 64? I managed to snag one through him on Amazon during pre orders and my friend had luck with one from Best Buy a few months ago through those updates!

Is this worth $20 for just this game? Despite how good it looks, unless there's other games I find interesting on this dreams game, I unfortunately will have to pass. But, If I come with some extra spending money and don't have an immediate game I want, I'd look at it for sure

You should definitely check out how the Venture project has been doing! You'd find a pleasant surprise to see how far it's come thus far!

i played sonic venture on the Standard ps4 and it doesn't run that great it chugs a little, but still was a lot of fun
