Real machine
It does have cross drilled rotors in the front and brembo big calipers from the factory. It's basically the C55 with out the motor and the seats. I have the same car but with silver ext. and black interior. My car is also an E85 car from factory so with 105 octane and twin piper cross race filters it goes pretty good. It's a really sharp car. I just put a black grille on mine and 8mm spacers in the rear which looks really good. The 07 is staggered already, see how the front rims are almost flat and the rear rims curve out. You can't put the rear rim and tire on the front but I like that look. My car just turned 76 thousand miles. I'm going to keep it for a year or two then I'm going to try to find a mint E55AMG. The biggest issue is the front bumper under belly. It is so low that you have to be very careful or it will damaged very easily.

I had this make and model. Got totaled when a guy rear ended me at 45mph while I was stopped at a red light. In 2019, with 61k miles and mint condition I was given $9k which was overly generous
Presently I own an identical car (pewter over black interior), bought in 2011. Up until then I was a Volvo driver. As mentioned 2007 was the last production year of the W203 chassis & by that time Mercedes had got everything right on the car. It's a rear wheel drive so in winter conditions steering could be a slight drawback but compensated by traction control & shiftronic transmission. The 17" wheels are staggered (wider rear tires). In any case it has been the best car that I have ever owned, extremely comfortable on long trips. Two missing elements: the rear seat does not fold down and there is no USB port but an outlet jack can be installed. Maintenance costs are very reasonable. The only important repairs consist of replacing different suspension & steering elements partially caused by poor local road conditions.
I have a 2007 c280. I noticed that the acceleration can be jerky sometimes, especially when I take my foot off the gas. Do you notice this too?
Gingerwhale What have you had to repair on yours? I’ve just replaced thrust arm bushings and sway bar end links.

I just bought this same one, black on black with 103k miles. When I went to get an inspection it needed a new intake manifold and 3 coils. $1000 before anything! Piece of shit wouldn't want to own it, I'll stick to Lexus
I bought a lexus 08 Is250 had it two weeks transmission went to shit. Engine overheated. Got a 2010 c300 Benz never been happier. Handling performance amazing.
