    Thank you very much for the very helpful video. Would you know if it's possible to have the GET function in the S7-1500 PLC to get data from an older S7-300 PLC for example? Is there a limit in terms of the amount of data and the rate at which you you can exchange the data?

    Thank you very helpful. After 5 years with TIA I haven't found how to zoom the editor window! I knew it was possible as I zoomed slightly, once. By accident! How do you zoom in and out? Matt

      Either press ctrl+mouse wheel up/down while the editor window is selected
      or
      Use the little slider bar on the bottom right of the editor window

    We usually have projects with just one PLC and few sensors and a few drive motors. So I need to mostly communicate with a third party device, like Robot or a Heating device (Modbus, Profinet device) etc.
    So in this case, depending on PLC Type and Bus / Network type between the devices, the configuration varies every time.
    Could you please post a basic video about this?... Maybe just a list of functions for the S7-1500 PLC for various bus types?

    Hi Man, if I put too much of 1hz clock bit in one project, will my project or my plc become laggy?

    • @hegamurl7434
      @hegamurl7434  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No! It is always just the same "Bit" that get's accesses in multiple places. It does not matter how many times you use a bit.
      PLC's in general are build against being "laggy"... if your program becomes big (many instructions) the whole program will just be executed a bit slower. At some point the program will become to big and the PLC will stop completely (this is one reason why there are cheaper, less powerfull, and more expensive, very strong, PLC's)

    Hello Hegamurl,
    Great explanation. I have one doubt, for using GET command could i put it into a cycle interrupt OB? Or should be placed in a cycle OB whit and request parameter set it to 0.25 hz clock for giving an example, cause i need to execute it automatically but no to fast. What is better in your opinion?

    Informative as usual. I wonder if it's possible to emulate plc get functionality with c# s7 library?

    • @hegamurl7434
      @hegamurl7434  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question, I don't really know unfortunately!
      I'd still assume that it's not possible as it has a lot to do with the memory structure of the PLC, which would have to be emulated (but as I said, only an assumption😅)
