Thanks a bunch. Before watching this video, I've already purchased some special coating, which I'm not gonna use. I had also prepared a long notepad list for how this cleaning was done. But then you just say: "All you need is warm water and microfiber cloth...". It sounds and looks so easy. Will get on to it tomorrow!

@@MattDanadel Thanks! Range anxiety is already a prob for me, especially here in northern NY. There is only one SC that's not even within the range of my winter travels for our son's hockey. Mileage seems doable but cold range reduction has me worried. I think it will be awhile before we are a two Tesla family. I will prob rely on my '22 Land Rover Defender in winter here.

The chemicals break down the protective coating that comes from the factory. What you have shown is the best way to make them last and the more time you take to wipe them each time you vaccum your interior the easier it is to keep the seat clean process shorter and looking new. I have these seats in my model S and its so easy to keep clean as you shown. Being everytime i vaccum the floor mats.

@@Pixelsurgery That is rubbed in, it will never go away. After 50k and 4 years (not just miles but years too) White seats that were sat in, look like trash. Don't buy white seats expecting they will clean like here. After material that goes through wear (years, not miles), it permanently absorbs all kinds of dye. Retrospect, I will buy black only and put your color of choice cover on it.

I've owned a Tesla for the past few years with white interior. I can tell you that from normal color transfer from your clothing is easy to clean. However, there are many things that can easily mark up your white interior and almost if not impossible to get rid of. I keep a clean car, but each time I've taken my care to Tesla for maintenance, another black scuff shows up on one or more seats that are now impossible to get rid of.
