@@raymondbauer2152 The same would happen to Francesco. Especially since he played using double stroke techniques. Triggers mean absolutely nothing, educate yourself on the matter before commenting. The thing with Aaron was the quantization and how obvious it was when you could clearly see the beaters in unison while hearing 16th and 32th notes at high speeds.

@@agentsmith413 you're right I wasn't really informed about those types of things back then but you gotta say that Paoli is probably still the better live drummer of those 2 as kitcher doesn't even play liveshows and probably wouldn't play as tight also Im not sure but I think you need a lot more endurance for fleshgod songs than for Infant Annihilator songs because some of Fleshgod songs are literally constant doublebass while IA has more pauses in them (maybe that isn't true either but It kind off feels like that to me)
@@raymondbauer2152 i agree 100% with all of that. i think overall Paoli is a better drummer but i would say(specifically) in short spurts Kitcher can play faster and i believe is a bit more technical than Paoli but overall i think Paoli is a beast and an overall better drummer and would destroy Kitcher when it comes to endurance.

@@RobBarron-lj3ok They are as technical as it gets, especially the albums Labyrinth and King are some of the most complex written pieces of music you can find... every song has a legitimate classical piece written as a background, the guitars are written like a 1st and 2nd violin respectively just with distortion , the drums are not only fast but also follow the melody of the song and at last there's also a *freaking pianist* subtly elevating each track even through the onslaught of noise. Dissect any part of their instrumentals and you'll find virtuous tracks for every instrument they use, especially their writing for guitars is criminally underrated because they are hard to dissect from the admittetly bloated mix (Pathfinder, Elegy, Minotaur and The Fool are some of the best examples for that)
+renshammar Behemoth is such an different style, that makes it hard to believe that. Yet, this sounds more like "If Dimmu Borgir still had their shit together", or even " Dimmu Borgirs returns to Spiritual Black Dimensions´s times". Regardless, Fleshgod is pretty much the top of the genre, nowadays.
+Oliver Quinn Everyone in this band are amazing at what they do. I consider myself a talented bassist, and his bass lines are ridiculously hard. Everyone in this band brings in their own talent...(hence why it's called a band) Fleshgod itself is God.....Though I will admit the drummer is probably one of the better death metal drummers on the planet.
1000% agree!! Out of the hundreds of death metal bands I love, Fleshgod is at the top of the pile for sure!! One of my favorites out there as is Hour of Penance. I am lovin the Italian death metal scene right now!!
I find it hilarious that stuff like this exists, and yet the music world completely ignores metal. It's not like they review metal albums and say they aren't any good... they flat out ignore their existence. Yet, a lot of metal albums ARE flat out classical music and outsell just about any classical album released in the past 20 years. Granted, Fleshgod is more like a movie sound track, but there's plenty of seriously advanced classical style metal out there.
You have to understand that this kind of extreme metal is the most intense music experience out there, once you here this there is nothing more intense than this not even dubstep or whatever shit, extreme metal is just the most intense form of music. Some people just can't stand agains this, their brains get melted hahahaha. Well our brains get melted aswell but we are use to it and we like the feeling.

also, backing track can theoretically be sped up but that is never done. why bother? there's an imperative you forget. set length. you want to fill your set as evenly as you should, but stick to your given slot. this basically means that the bands have figured out what songs to play and how long the set would be. if they obey the click, which itself follows the backing track, theres no slipping. fans get many many songs, and the band looks professional as fuck. everyone wins.

No one mentions Tommaso, he was a really good rythim guitarrist who could play like that and deliver excellent, brutal and high energy vocals, with perfect pronunciation in his secondary (or third, I don't know for sure) language.

Them and Septicflesh are unbelievable. Septicflesh are more artsy though, and mystic. While fleshgod aims more towards brutal and majestic.
