The fiasco involved with cleaning the aftermath of food from your braces makes eating feel not worth it. I just got mine and I can't tolerate all that junk around the brackets multiple times a day with the hassle after. It becomes clear that eating what I want or used to eat is simply not worth it now. I don't want to bulk up on so many carbs on the list. I guess protein shakes will be a predominant menu item most of the time

I somehow broke one of my brackets with eating a chicken wrap (it was soft) so🤷🏼♀️but I got that fixed a few months back so it’s alr now just being much more careful but still enjoying the foods I love

Put one my braces today and the first meal I had was a burger. It was very painful and comfortable even though I cut it. I had to cut it into bite size pieces to enjoy it.

The orthodontist put this blue solid on the teeth at the back of my mouth. The orthodontist didn't tell me why and I cannot chew as my teeth do not go together, and when I do try to chew it hurts very badly, can you help?

Do not use whitening toothpaste or mouthwash. It won't whiten under the brackets and when braces come off, you will see where they were. A water flosser will help remove bits of stuck food. Dental wax is the answer to everything. This information came directly from an orthodontist. Edit to correct: specifically whitening mouthwash or whitening products.
You can eat everything as long as you are careful, if you eat something too hard...I would have to ask you why you do it...just use common sense... I did lots of research of it...
