I used to have the double barrel race track when I was a kid I got that for Christmas in 89 I know today it's tough to find it was such a fun track I mean I used to race all kind of different Hot Wheel cars on it it's amazing that you're able to complete these year-by-year collections
The Color Shifters now have the nickel plated axles if I remember right. I was never a huge Color Shifter fan. I know a few customizers use the axles for their custom racers. I haven't gotten that deep into all that. I remember the FTE wheels had nickel axles as well. But this set shows the beginnings of a trend that 30 years later is still going strong. Your collections are absolutely amazing. The 4x4's are some of my favorites. Sadly I don't have a lot. Maybe 2 or 3. Beautiful collection. Great video again.
ahh it seem only a few of us are geekt oot enough to know this stuff love the fte cars would sit there and spin the wheels and wait for them to stop and think aboot how similar they are to redlines ( bearing n caps only) and the hot ones in speed and long smooth spinning action ! i also love color shifters (my suggestion is,,, if you havent started buying them DO NOT and youll be fine ;]) anyways i did notice long before i read about the nickel axles that color shifters seemed to be faster than yer avg dollar car . might be just me but i believe the bases on color shifters get an xtra splash of tha good ol nickel on the bases as well
Sometimes sticking an old color racer in the freezer for a couple hours will revive the paint. Just don't over do it or possible moisture damage! (I've never had that happen though, but you could always ziploc)
Love to see the whole collection my goodness it must be never ending started mine this year thrift stores have been the best for me and garage and yard sales I can't fathom eBay prices
I have about a dozen of these that I bought new and are mint. Some of them are obviously color changers because of their weird color, but others I thought were not color changers because of the color looks normal. Thanks for the video.
I checked my 30 year old Colour Changers the other day and they still change colour in hot water. Then they change back after a few minutes. So do my Micro Machine Colour Changers.

Una colección preciosa, saludos amigo coleccionista, me suscribo a tu canal
Alrighty, thumbs up
What kind of value do you put on power command cars? I just came across a bunch still on card.
They can fluctuate wildly with supply and demand on eBay, but in general they seem to be worth around $20 each or more
The P911... What Variations are you aware of?
I normally don't buy color changers because one not really a cool casting and they tend to stay in the ugliest paint job but cool videos
From a distance , i thought they were bootlegs
Dont get me wrong , i collect tons of vintage HWs but most of them have metalic paint :p
Hey Wtffor I Just Got My First Green Machine Today. It Was A John Wick Mustang. Im Still Trying To Figure out if i should open it or not.
