Hi all! This was a very unique kind of game, but I will say that I think this game is MUCH better to watch than to play. Yes, it's very cute and charming and the animations, visuals, SOUNDS, music, and levels are all great! BUT, I was not a fan of the main system where you can't control Pac-Man directly, but have to use a sort of interactive cursor and slingshot to get anything done. I really think it would have been better if you could just run and jump and do stuff normally with the D-pad like any other game. OTHER than that, if you're looking for a pretty unique kind of retro game and want to learn more about Pac-Man's lore lol, then give it a try! It's also similar to Snoopy Concert that I recently played for LPA. You direct Pac-Man through his world to do tasks for the other characters, collect items, and eventually beat a giant ghost witch boss who has been stealing all the children's already-been-chewed gum, which you then destroy at the end in a pretty difficult boss battle! Overall I did really enjoy it!
i have to disagree. if it just controlled normally it would just be another run of the mill platformer. I think there is something to be admired about the unique control scheme and pac-man mood system even if it is a bit clunky. it was ambitious and makes the game stand out quite a bit.
I understand, and I can appreciate the originality as well. I enjoyed that sort of idea in Snoopy Concert, but just not as much as in this game. Still, I had a fun time playing and finishing it so it wasn't a dealbreaker for me or anything.@@hunterterrat9105
Oh, and as an added bonus, both Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man is included in the game as well. On the Genesis version, as the latter was already ported on said system, "Pac-Jr.", an exclusive game for the Genesis version, takes Ms. Pac's place.
Too bad I never played this game as a kid or encounter this game but I remember seeing a cart of the SNES of it for like 5 bucks at a flee market or somwhere but never got a chance to buy it until 20 years or so later on I got it for the Genesis and SNES so like the SNES had better music and graphics there, though the Genesis is close and sounds better but SNES is my main console of all so yeah. Plus I actually beat it all because AVGN made me play this game more and I still love Pac Man one of my childhood arcade games ever. Man, its a shame that Ms. Pac Man is no longer exist in the Namco or Midway due to AtGames bought it off from them, instead for modern Pac Man games we get Pac-Mom? Wtf? Also where ever happened to Pac Jr. too? we only got Pac Baby or Baby Pac? Oh well, anyways fun game of Pac Man 2.
Funny story I like this game for the same reason I like dual hearts in this is the best way I can explain it in pac-man 2 pac's mood is determined by what you do with the slingshot in dual hearts baku's mood is determined by the meter in the lower right for that game
Played this game as a kid. One of the most FRUSTRATING GAMES I’ve ever played. Couldn’t beat it & didn’t have Game Genie codes for it. The Genesis version is way better than the SNES version in my eyes.

@@polancoboomer Yeah you're right! I made sure to show that in the video, I love a good exclusive.
The game where you can either help Pac out or piss him off.
I did a bit of both for sure haha
This game was hilarious for its time.
I love how the comments above and below are “I loved the interactive cartoon game!” And then in the middle there’s this.
One of my favourite Pac Man games! An interactive cartoon where you decide where Pac goes and what he does
Exactly!
Mine, too.
Aka every game ever but idrc
I’m gonna be more honest I have more fun making Pac’s life a living hell than even beating the game.
In Japan, it was called "Hello Pac-Man".
Interesting!
Definitely a better name, I wouldn't say this is Pac Man 2 but it definitely feels very pac man-y
When all you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.
When all you have is a slingshot, every problem looks like Pac-Man's face.

A beloved Pac-Man game from LONG AGO!!! An interactive game in which YOU choose where Pac-Man and what he'll do!!!
That's right! It was really unique.
VERY FUN LONGPLAY OF PAC II : THE NEW ADVENTURES 1994 - ON SEGA GENESIS GAME !!!
The sound is truly atrocious in this version, I played this game a lot on SNES but never got past the mountains
I personally enjoyed the sound design, but I can admit some sounds are a bit harsh!
there were two versions of this cover. i think i chose the right one ^^
100% Thank you!!! haha

Yes the mood changes and the effects it has are a nice touch to the game! Definitely is funny to watch him get worked up haha.
Well my favorite version of Pac-Man 2 is the Snes.
this game was such trash as a kid. huge let down that a birthday present was wasted by this game. so boring
More Pac Man games next!
Possibly!
I Like Pac-Man 😍
Me too!

Yep, sounds about right. I definitely wouldn't have beaten it as a kid either haha
Snes is better
Produced by Namco, Ltd. from Namco Hometek, Inc. and Licensed by Sega Enterprises, Ltd.
I cherish the Super Nintendo version of this game. The music is leaks better and I believe you should check it out
Why does the Super Pac-Man theme sound like MS-DOS music? (It isn’t bad tho)
Pac-Man is bipolar.
A little bit XD
I think he also has OCD.
Good ❤❤
