I've read somewhere that the "moon mode" was actually an artificial gimmick, basically when you zoom in and the phone realizes you're trying to take a picture of the moon, it will actually use known pictures of the moon to place them on top so you get the "moon shoot" that you want
I found someone who doesn't get tricked.
It is pretty obvious when the ai kicks in at 0:37 and places the fake picture.

You can check this theory out by having the phone take pictures in tinted moon conditions, ie. if there's a red or orange moon?

You know that Huawei Fakes the photos from the moon? They use ai to detect when the moon is shot and put a high res photo of the moon in the shot.

Huawei P60 pro would have 2x internal lens with multiple layer zoom with exactly same width body so it could be a 100x zoom so we could see another planet from phone. If this are on the market i would probably buy it.
You understand that it only has 5x optical zoom right? The 50x zoom is just digital zoom. Even Nikon P1000 with true 125x optical zoom still struggling to 'see' Mars.
This is pretty much fake though,the AI uses pre captured moon image to make it look like we are actually zooming notice how dramatically the image cleared as soon as the camera detected it was a moon..you can do a Google search if u don't believe me

I hate to burst the bubble of the 4 billion people commenting “this’ll kill telescopes” but what you’re seeing is called ‘moon mode’ the phone detects when your lens is on the moon and alters certain settings and sort of...for lack of a better term fills in the blanks and helps generate a clear and detailed image of the moon that isn’t really the image that you’re capturing. In other words, you point your phone at the moon and the phone gives you a picture of the moon that it made.
You might as well download a pic of the moon taken from a telescope because it’s not really your picture.
Our eyes are of 576MP but without any zooming feature😩😩 else we can see through the galaxies clearly
