Man, your video style is so refreshing. No cheesy mega-fake hyped up intro, no stupid instrumental/royalty-free music, and just calm, normal conversation narration throughout. Thanks for such awesome quality content!
The best part of his videos are that he shows him starting off from his house, and he’s jumping into the boat and kind takes off into the keys. I just love that. New music is the best, I can lay here in bed and watch a good hour of this and I can slowly relax, and dream of warm waters.
Listen man I’m a free lance mate up in marathon who also drops pinfish traps regularly for our receivers, and you have absolutely blown my mind with keeping the chum inside of the box to let it last longer… The things I have learned from you and this channel insane
Look how much love food brings into the kitchen. I'm from the Netherlands and there is no way that our fish can be that fresh. Enjoy those moments guys. Much love from the Netherlands✌🏿
She looks great on the water Aaron! I would never have thought of honey to sweeten the recipe, and it looked really good! Have a wonderful week you three, thank you for taking us with you!
First catch on the new boat awesome!!! Now to see it on it's first trip. I agree design is primo with all that space for the gear and stuff also gives you options for other configurations. Thanks another great vid.
Its very easy to see the potential of the new boat. Crab traps, bait nets, cooking. The space, simplicity and freedom are awesome. Very cool video! Hope to see you guys camping! Maybe a night dive... Thx for sharing!
I like the new craft. The bow steering looks a little top heavy but I’ve never been around your type fishing being from the North West targeting salmon , steelhead, and trout. Like your videos and education you offer to viewers . Thanks keep them coming. Oregonian enjoys.
I love these shallow water dives. I'm thinking one of your giveaways in the future should be a shallow water mangrove dive with you to spear mangroves. Every time I see you post these I'm like man I'd like to do this with him and pick his brain while we are out. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would like that.
You decadent double dipper; on the egg and coatings. Crispy! Can't wait to start swimming and doing some under water hunting here in MN and Manitoba. Thanks for the stoke.
Great video as always brother! Love the color of the boat! The footage was great with the nurse shark comming up on that flat! Cant wait for more, i love that standing view you have on the new boat! Need to name her. Your snapper sandwiches made me hungry, im going to try your way of frying them next time . Thanks for taking me with you brother. Tight lines 🤙
I have been looking for 18 Gheenoes now to go see..without going to Titusville. I live in Tallahassee but spent lots of time in Titusville working as a district manager for a grocery chain. Miss my trips to Dixie Crossroads too! Awesome story about you and your stepdad...very cool connection to the Gheenoe family!
It is so cool how you control the new gheenoe from the very front. Must be cool from your vantage point as all you see is water. When you were filming from the back (engine) of the gheenoe and your video showed the entire boat, the boat looked hugely long! I do think you should add some chilis to your mango concoction. The mango adds the sweet, mayo the tang and chilis adds some heat. I like when you and CWC just make stuff up and see how it tastes!
@@KeyWestWaterman lol it’s been over 3 years for me. Nothing like home made food. When I did eat it my favorite was the snack wraps. Again bro congrats on the new boat
Your videos are so amazing! I used to live in Florida on the gulf side. I have decided to come back down and visit family next month. Keep up the great videos Aaron!
We had a gheenoe as a kid, we always referred to it as a flat bottom canoe, but im guessing it could have been designed for a small outboard. We used it in the pond at our house.
@@KeyWestWaterman It had a really neat self filling livewell in the center, I've thought recently after watching your build thread of getting another and setting it up for single person flounder gigging.
Without being able to taste, it may be a splash of red wine vinegar or it needed to sit overnight so the flavors can marry. Great video again nice boat.
Thanks for clarifying the braining process. I have been doing it wrong, going thru the skull and on a snapper that is pretty tough. I can't get over the color of the boat. Totally unique! Dang that motor is quiet. It is so cool when you punched it. I know you aren't going to miss the roar of the two stroke. That was neat subbing the seasoned bread crumbs for the flour.
Great video, those mangroves look creepy at times, and those fish sandwiches looked great.it’s fitting that the first fish you got on the new boat would be mangrove snapper
hey aaron, wanted to thank you for recommending "braining" fish. during a recent trip i started cutting the gills and started to learn how to brain the fish. my catch was black sea bass which up here is 27.99 /lb fish. although in the past i always iced my fish immediately, heavy ice, i found the quality of the fillet much improved especially as i like sushi and salt crust grill baked whole sea bass. sometimes i hit the mark and fish was dispatched actually not really from what i read, paralyzed and could not feel pain, but sometimes it took a few tries to achieve the end result. have an upcoming trip coming up and bought an stainless steel spike so hopefully my skill will improve with this device. what i really noticed about the fish was even though b sea bass has not reall bloody laterial line in the fillet, the fillet's where much whiter and also i think killing the fish this way lengthened the time i could keep in the frig while still tasting very good, 3 days..... thanks the tips and glad you are enjoying the new ride.....
The fish looks super yummy! I like your skiff as well. It looks like it would be very functional for the way you use it and the environment you operate in, Maybe a quick tour/video of your skiff? Thanks
Love your videos! Keep ‘em coming! You always ask for ideas. I was wondering if you had any plans to do any more videos with “Life on the bow” I vaguely remember y’all doing a video together. Maybe I’m wrong.
