Your book is Fabulous and I have also enjoyed watching this series. I have a special tab just for you in my TH-cam saves. You are so talented AND a really great Teacher. To me that's probably the biggest compliment I can give bc you can have excellent fiber artists, sure, but Also being able to teach it concisely and flawlessly is an amazing achievement. Kuddos! Thank you! 🥰👏👏👏🧶
I had real trouble following this. I see now that there is a pattern to this that I had a hard time keeping in my head after you stopped leading us through it. What I ended up doing was writing down the pattern elements and then repeating it until I reached the end of the row of kichener stitches. I usually don't have trouble memorizing patterns, but there may be too many elements to this. If anyone else has a problem following it, I recommend writing it down in a way you can follow and just use your notes. Eventually, I'm sure I will be able to do this without following my notes, somewhat like I did with turning the heel. I don't know where I'd be without the videos that are available on knitting. Between these and my notes, I have managed to learn knitting here at home. LOVE the internet era!
Hi! I am so so excited to have just finished my first pair of socks (minus weaving in the ends... so not QUITE done) and just want to say thank you so much for this pattern and video series! The socks are adorable and I found it easy to follow. I'm already itching to make my next pair :)
❤ OMG I made it!!!!!! Thank you so much for guiding me through my first pair of socks. I’ve never enjoyed being so basic so much 😅. I love my first pair of socks that are now warming my cold feet (middle of winter here in NZ). Thank you for the free pattern with videos. You are a great teacher with excellent instructions. I am already thinking of my next pair of socks. 😂
Thank you so much for this series!!! Just bought your Sock Project book, and I'm loving it; it's my first ever knitting book where I've followed a pattern. I made my first sock ever thanks to you! You are amazing
Thank you so much for providing these videos along with your written pattern. I started knitting 10 years ago and only learned the basics before I moved on to crochet and I never picked knitting back up. I finally did because I wanted to learn how to make socks and you made this incredibly easy to follow for someone like me. Only problem now is I have to knit the second sock! I've seen patterns where people knit two at the same time. Could you do that with this pattern?
hey! these tutorials have been awesome! thanks! The link to the needles you use is not working (anymore?) could you re-post it? I'm finding it annoying to slip the knitting back onto my needle, it gets stuck, I'm thinking your needles might be better
