I just realized how much your videos impacted me. I watched a ton of them at the beginning of this year. I am a 70 yo woman and this summer I took a nine week tour of Europe that included two cruises. I made a point to talk to strangers as often as I could and also made friends to tour with and received help whenever I needed to. My mobility improved immensely during my traveling. One time the head of security helped me to get to the Copenhagen airport by transferring one piece of luggage for me to another metro, taking it with me all the way to the baggage area where I self checked my luggage. During that time we shared a lot of info and encouraged each other during our chat. That’s just one tiny example and his help made such a big difference taking the luggage on escalators.
I know you guys probably won’t see this comment out of the thousands but I continue to that you guys for bringing me out of a depressional hole and bringing me joy for humanity over and over again I’m beyond grateful to have came across your channel three years ago and i dont know what my outlook on things would be if I didn’t. Also to add I’m in awe at how far you guys have came and can’t wait to see how far you’ll go

I got sick with a severe neuro-immunological chronic illness 10 years ago and bedbound 7,5 years ago at the age of 28. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to travel. So thank you for taking me on your adventures 💚 I just ordered Matt's book and the blue Sherpa jacket as a Christmas present to myself. A personal delivery of the book would be so amazing 😍 About 10 years ago, I translated a book from English to German because we didn't have a good German book on that topic. I just wrote the author and he said YES! That was so cool. It was the greatest feeling when the book flew in from New York and I could finally physically hold that book in my hands after so many hours of work - even if it was just a translation.
