Well heck, finally a good objective review of the DB7 Vantage! I love my 2003 Toro red DB7 Vantage Volante. The only music I listen to while driving it is the exhaust note. Again, thanks for the good review.
I appreciate you taking the time to comment! Toro red is AMAZING on the Volante! I’ll be sure to post a follow up video once the exhaust makes the proper noises. Cheers and thanks for watching!
@@sarahdell4042 it’s the only coupe in the US with this exact spec in this colour. There are 3 Volantes with this interior hue. Interestingly there are a few variations I have seen where the seats are all green and it has blue piping. Thanks for watching !
@@vezirhoda if you want a true GT experience the DB7 wins hands down. If you want something a little more on the flamboyant side, it’s the 4200. I do plan to do a vantage coupe yet this year
Sir, i love the colour of your DB7! I always fancied one but in the end i managed to find that little bit extra to get a 2005 DB9 in Onyx Black metallic. I just love tooling around in my Aston, so much rarer on the road than a Porsche 911 or Bentley Continental! Enjoy your beautiful car!👍👏👏👏♥️🇺🇸🏴
I almost bought a DB9 to go along with this recently. Really enjoying this one right now. Fabricating an exhaust currently. They judged the factory exhaust sound so much better on the DB9. Thanks for watching. Stay tuned!
Very elegant car Tim, which leads me to say, shouldnt you leave the exhaust as is? Its not a ferrari and as such, it doesnt need to shout🤷♂️ Good to see you have the manual , a friend of mine has an 05 db9 with auto box and the changes are so slow you could count them on an hour glass! Keep up the good work my friend👍
@@TheScudabear1 these are quite shockingly rare in manual, which is a shame because they are lovely. it might actually be quieter than my Bentley. I will keep all the bits and it will be reversible. What a great video! I had one 4 years ago sold it ! And just brought one again ! There best I’ve had 4 Aston all different ones ! This is my favourite! It’s got such a bad name ! And I don’t know why! There great
@@TimsEnthusiastGarage there’s a manual DB7 Vantage Volante for sale in Canada. The price is right, and the condition looks great, so I’m very tempted to; but maintenance costs scare me! I need your input as you’re living with one, so do let me know what ownership has been like for you?
@@automotiveaffairsshorts I haven’t owned it long enough to make a valid assessment on that yet. Some parts I have looked up are def higher than similar cars. Once the exhaust is built I will probably be using it more
@@automotiveaffairsshorts DB7 has a cool factor that is in a whole other niche. The newer car is just that, a newer car. I have driven a dozen or so of those and they are really good cars. They somehow feel a bit “common” which is why I never nabbed one.

Brother, count how many times you say "this car" during this and your other videos. There's absolutely no need to do so, and it makes your commentary hard to watch. I'm only telling you this as constructive criticism. As a subscriber, I like the cars that you review, and would only like for you to do well with your channel.
