These Kia "T-GDI" engines are very good. Anyone who thinks that these 3 turbocharged cylinders with 100hp and 120hp don't move at all or that they move very little would be mistaken. I was enjoying the acceleration of this Ceed and seeing my Rio with the same engine but with a 5-speed manual gearbox. My 100hp Kia Rio T-GDI goes from 0 to 100km/h in less than 9 seconds and has already reached 210km/h h on the highway.
snow in Germany...this time of the year?...who would have thought? ...aaghh..damn winter, we had -13 celsius this morning...or is it Austria?...nope...it's Deutschland by the car's number.
The number plates of many cars that you've tested are with HH symbols. It means „Hanseatic city of Hamburg” ? On the other hand, I've noticed that many vehicles are with US number plate. Explain me, if you want!
Consumption a bit high. Could be from the low temperature? Dacia Sandero as i remember have similar engine and power but better fuel economy, is that true? Can be Dacia engine a better engine than kia\hyunday? Strange.
Hopefully not, german cars are of really shitty quality. Japanese and Korean cars are the way to go if you want something reliable with good build quality.
@@aymanshaheen32 I'm German and have a good bit of experience with german cars. VW is especially bad, always has been since around 2000, but it's at an all time low now. I have a colleague who refuses to get in a Golf if she's offered one by the company fleet. Those things are abysmal. Way overpriced, too.
i got one... is the worst engine i ever had on my entire life. The consumption of fuel when you go over 2000 rpm, as on highway for instace, is insane, and way, way more than my old 1600 4 cylinder... require maintenance every 15.000 km, and i doubt about realibility. My old 1600 got 380.000 km, who know if i can get same with this engine.
Fuel consumtion is similar to 1.5 tgdi . On the other hand 1.0 is quite dynamic for 100 HP car, way better than old 1.4 100 HP.
Except reliability, this engine will last without problems until 100k km.
@@Solveetcoagula666 You have one?

I got mine today and while the car as a whole is near perfect, the engine lacks some punch imho.
A decent power and fast acceleration.🚙
Does a 29er mtb fit in the trunk if you put down the rear seats and take out the bicycles front wheel?
Great video, please make same tests with kia stonic 100 hp mild hybrid 🙏

It's most likely a rental car by.... Sixt? I think. Those all have HH. Others have EU or WI, those are by Europcar and Enterprise if I'm not mistaken.

Sandero is a much smaller and lighter car. And the temperature is crucial to consumption!
This looks like a car from 2012 Inside and outside
Thank god!
It doesn't but ok
-8 🥶
fuel consumption relative bad for this size and power of car but its bad with all 1 liters engines
why ceeds in eu looks worse than, for example, russian market ones? or ceed in russia/brazil/etc is cerato in eu?
this is base spec, we have also GT-Line specs and some higher trims level too

Disposable cars. The DCT is not good, I drove a Enterprise rent car and the clutch was slipping so bad. Manual much better
Automatic is for disabled humans!
