I really love Quayle's modern fusion playing. In this video, however, it is Rick who is into the song and the bossa nova legit soloing. Thanks for upping.
Awesome Chops of you both, by the way, nothing more motivating about music than sometimes "jamming with no compromise" .... keep it up, you both! ´Cause it´s hard to get where you guys are. Greetings from Germany Bruno
Well done Rick, I spose this is new territory for you huh? you're doing well buddy it's not easy stuff, Tom, amazing as always very fluent n smooth execution well done you both! 5 Stars!! :D
Hey Tom and RIck. I think you are great, you guys play very well. It is a nice jam. I have one comment though. In all those videos you guys play together it is always one of you playing while the other rests. I believe it would be interesting to see you comp each other as well. Soloing is a major part of jazz and fusion, but playing behind the soloist is important just the same. It is somewhat forgotten in modern fusion.. it's all backing tracks ..
where's the funny guy with beard you used to play with? :), Btw awesome jam again!! :) and what pickups are you guys using to get that awesome sound on your suhr guitars? ;)
hey tom quick question for you .... if you are usin the fx out loop into your interface, what about if u wanna use a delay or chorus into the fx loop.... will be like a chain, how will be the order ?¿? thx bro, and keep playin, you re awsome!!!
@tq105 you sound great!! i actually try to played this tune for the first time 2 weeks ago, i feel i played wrong notes and scales.. would you be so kind to tell me ur scale approach on this song.... for example are u playing lots of 5 1 phrases meaning altered and resolving to major and are u playing a lot of lydian dominant on the non resolving dominants?.. because thats what i was doing... and also are u just playing c major over the dm7 em7 fmaj7 and g7??? thanks :)
always better, always more sofisticated! amazing! but tell mr. graham that the ring on the finger is not cool anymore, beacause only cardinals and the meber of mafia wear it ;)
They both blow me away in this :) Tom is in his element

You look like Vincent Vega! Keep on rocking
I miss this jam...
🌳🌸🌲😀
@WilliamEGuitar I think you are referring to George? Tom is using SSV+, and FL's, Rick is using an Aldrich set.
love it!
Expression Rick’s face be like…”hurry up and get your notes in so I can jam already?!?”
COOL~~
Vincent Vega, my man from Amsterdam!

Tom's allergic to your solos :)
