Bought a cheap replacement off of amazon that included the new lens cover and works great.
It's important to notice that chances are the latch will be stuck, which you'll need to pop off the lock and then pry off the latch inside if it is stuck.

They make it look so easy. The clip won’t allow us to disconnect from the housing. The red clip is all the way up but when we grab and pull on the tab it won’t release

    I had a hard time disconnecting my wires so I didn't :)
I "gently" put pliers on the plastic bulb socket & twisted anti clockwise to remove the socket & change the bulb :)

FOR PEOPLE TRYING TO DISCONNECT WIRES AND THINK ITS STUCK. Push tab down, push then pull. If you just pull it won't budge, was sitting with it for way too long

I pushed the red tab up pushed the black tab down pulled and pulled it won't come apart what to do? The socket needs replacing.

when you push tab and pull you may need to push first, I fought it for awhile before realizing this.. also you can change just light bulb by twisting and pulling may be snug.

I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty and I’ve had to rebuild the front end of the car and I’m really close. The last thing I need to do is screw it in but there’s no anchor for the t15 to screw into? Do you know what the parts called and where I can find it

  • @MrKOv2

The screw of mine is missing, I searched for T15 bolts but I don't see anything like the one on the video. Does anybody knows the actual size of the bolt and where to get it. A link would be help helpful. Thank you in advance.

how about "how to" replace/install the actual bulb in parking light? I relessedthe light unit but can't or don't know how to get to the actual bulb!

The description is inaccurate. It should be titled how to remove parking/ turn signal assembly and not the bulb itself, which is what everyone thought it would be about. Still appreciate your helpful vids.

+Lucky Dragon We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1AAuto.com

My dad had to put a lighter to the bulb to heat it up a small bit. The rubber was stuck. But a quick countetclockwise turn and it pops right out. Just the same as a headlight or brakelight. No pliers necessary. Especially if the plastic is brittle.

+Matticulous Mee Actually, you can replace the bulb on the corner lights for the 2005 - 2007 Jeep Liberty vehicles. However, if you need new lenses due to dullness caused by abrasion over years on the road, we offer the parts on 1A Auto at the following link: www.1aauto.com/1A/parking-lights/Jeep/Liberty/1ALPP00252?TH-cam&CTA%20Comment&ATony

I pushed up the red clip and pushed the tab but the assembly does not come apart, it seems to be stuck so now I have to take the car to a mechanic because am afraid the part will break since it is plastic and over 10 years old.

this video sucks because its just a sales gimmick trying to sell you a more expensive and completely unnecessary part, which in this case is the housing unit ... there is no need to mess with the clip and disconnect the wiring ... simply grab where the base of the bulb would be, right were the gasket/seal is, turn it counter clockwise about 60 degrees, and the bulb will slide out of the housing unit ... replace the bulb and you're good to go
