  • The Real Winners & Losers from NFL Week 13. Jake Browning is a backup quarterback god. The Bengals shock the Jaguars on Monday Night Football after a Trevor Lawrence ankle injury. Jordan Love upsets Patrick Mahomes on Sunday Night. Brock Purdy & the 49ers crush Jalen Hurts and the Eagles. Gardner Minshew gets an insane overtime win for the Colts over Will Levis & the Titans. Tua plays tears in heaven.

@@victorcaldwell2900 That exactly it. The curse wheel doesn't have to mean you're going to lose, but if you do win you better expect at least 1 star player to go out with an injury. Like how the Vikings got cursed and still won, but Kirk tore his achilles that game.

People keep talking about the ones who are out for the season, but so many other QBs have missed multiple games as well. I read somewhere that there's only 6 teams in the league up until this point who's starting QB didn't miss at least 1 game due to injury.

That loss last week hurt. I usually don't have my hopes up but I felt good that they would win. Not only was it a must win but against the no 1 team.
They've had some bad losses. That loss to Denver hurt, they didn't deserve to win but without having 12 men out there they would've.
I also don't get why they didn't try anything at the end of the game against Philly. Allen can probably throw into the end zone from the 25 and they just went into ot. Why not try something? Did they even want to win?

I swear Tua is one of the only QBs who would get criticized for a 60 yard TD pass, it's the most on brand thing I've ever seen. The kid puts up top of the league stats in back to back years (one where he was injured most the season) and he's still considered to be "just ok" or "any one could do it in that offense", no, no they can't, and we saw it last year when he went down. I feel for him, he could win a Super Bowl MVP and they'll still find a way to downplay his accomplishments.

They also don't talk about that not at one single point did KC have the lead on that game, or were even tied with GB after the first series. They also ignore that KC needed a TD and then to convert the 2pt conversion to just tie the game to get it into OT.

Except that security marshmallow should never have put his hand on a player.
It's not even his job to get involved which is why he deserved his DQ too.
And it will likely bring more rule changes concerning non football personnel.

I watched a vid other day about what the 2023 season has taught us, and the one that stands out the most is the importance of the back up QB. like seriously i not sure what the snap count in practice is between starter and back up, but i'd make sure the back up gets a bit more going forward.
