Can the 40mp sensor from the p20 pro be transplanted to the mate 20 pro? The 40mp sensor in the mate 20 pro has the same specs as the p20 pro except for the OIS. I e not sure why Huawei didn't do it but I think the low light images would 50 times better when mate 20 pro AIS is combined with the 40mp OIS sensor.
in your video there is only a black (antenna) cable but in my p20 pro there is a black and a white and only one can go back to place - the other is now permanently detached... :( wifi seems to be working for now... any idea what did I ruin?
@@DIYGeardo The wire that goes from between the camera lenses and the mainboard at top of video at 1:15, where you unplug it. Is it some distance sensor?

Copper foil is there to cool camera sensor, breaking it was idea
Yep, but for the replacement, we gotta remove it.
