Seems like people are fine with spending 250 on 3 hits only if theres also base cards in the set. Would love to see that with tier one
This use to be a great gamble for the barrels, knobs etc at the $125-$150 a box but $250+ is too much esp watered down even more then 2016-18

@@JZF629 lol I haven’t even been able to find those at Walmart, target or anywhere. Literally the only thing I’ve seen is like 2019 prestige. The one with the funky cut cards… but anyways yeah it sucks trying to find anything
I like the Cecil Fielder signature card. I met him in 1983 when he played for the Florence Blue Jays. In Florence South Carolina. He was a nice guy.
Crazy how lots of these are out of 299 almost like the odds are skewed with the player list
With all most every big box store have cards warming the shelf you would think prices will start coming down.
The JROD was awesome but the rest is just like a more expensive Archives Signatures

I got a 2022 Topps Heritage, didn’t pull anything crazy but was happy to get Clemente and some of the short prints
I did get a Trae Turner bat shard which was cool to feel

I just got back into cards this year after a 30-year absence from the hobby after a childhood in the 80s of obsessively collecting everything (and keeping them all). Have to admit, I'm a little confused about the best approach or even how to enjoy opening cards any longer, as I don't make a lot of money and can't buy cases (as I did as a teenager with newspaper delivery money!). But your enthusiasm is what got me interested again and I look forward to your videos each night.
@@darklordojeda I regret not selling my Canseco and McGwire rookies when I had the chance, and I would advise these guys with their latest phenom named Rodriguez or Franco to sell them as soon as they fall out of the pack. It's a casino and nearly everyone loses. These are not "investments." As a teenager I believed what adults told me. In retrospect, it's hilarious that I believed these cards would pay for my children's college, etc., etc.
I enjoy watching the videos as well but I also agree that these cards are confusing. The relics are almost taking the place as a regular base card. There’s so many sets that Have auto Trout, Jeter etc that those are not really interesting either. They are going to make Jeter autos for another 50 years. Is it Jeter collectors that need to buy every new auto?? I really like the card collecting but after 1 Summer I feel like I have seen everything they have to offer.
Same here. I quit back in the early 90's and trying to understand the cards and how absurdly expensive they have become is mind boggling. I feel like I would have just as much fun breaking open an old box of cards for way less money.
@@heyjohnny76 Buying vintage is the best way to limit how much money you lose, all the new prospects and rookies should be sold as soon as you get them while they're still considered the next hot thing. Most rookies flame out and never become successful.
Being a Cal Ripken fan, I would say that it was my favorite.

I bought one 4 years ago got a sandy alcantara Kyle Tucker and Khrushchev Davis pst h and at the time it was trash but it’s a pretty great box now

Just got one of these for $200, got a Logan Webb relic card (232/399), Gavin Lux auto (79/199), and a tier one talent bronze ink Nolan Ryan (6/25). Very good pull for me

The price tag is a bit high. I don't really care for jersey patches and what not -- especially at that price point. I think I'd rather just roll the dice with Archives signature series and try to land a HOF for a fraction of the price point of this product. The J-Rod redemption was great, but other than that I don't think any of them were worth anything near the buy in price of this product. That's just my opinion though. If someone likes them and have the disposable income then by all means buy as many as you'd like. They're just a bit much for me.

I have a question! I bought a box today and I pulled a Fernando tatis jr. Perfect contact bat relic. The card is a 3/5 but it is autographed twice by tatis jr. The auto on the bat barrel and another on card auto on the top right. I can’t find a card like that so is that an error card? Or is it suppose to have two on card autographs on the one card?

well usually if you get an expired redemption topps will either give you a similar card or just some random autos, ive never heard of topps just completely giving you nothing for an expired redemption.

Mike Trout's card will not diminish in value. You know very little about future HOF'mers and their value. Mike Trout is the best player of this Century and his cards will prove that.
Sooooo sick of these guys using their initials as their "autographs!" I understand they don't teach cursive anymore but, if you are gonna sign autographs as part of your profession, LEARN CURSIVE! lol, thanks again for the video Jabs, preciate ya!
I’m not sure why it matters. It’s just a way to show the card is unique and at one time held by the player.
if I were those players I'd at least master my own personal signature, doesn't have to be the whole alphabet/language.

Terrible products, at that price point you should have a decent card in each pack.
These “premium” releases are simple money grabs by Topps. $200+ and Tier One implies top talents, these things are filled with mediocre talents. You’re much better off buying 2 $100 Stay Classy packs.
This product is only good if you are in a random teams break, or pick your teams break. PERIOD. :)
1 box passed the price of the box - that was the one with the Julio Rodriguez. I would say the average value pulled from a case and 2 boxes is around $80
