The second point is that even if people are doing it, it was legal in the UK as at that time. The UK welcomed (past tense because they have now changed their policy) students to bring their family over. Imagine having to study for 4 years in another country without seeing your wife and children for 4 years...😢 The 3rd point is that Nigerians aren't the only set of immigrants doing the same thing but they're discreet about it (it's not synonyms to lieing).
