Nice guide! Well done, my friend :) One suggestion that I would have: When you say to use certain abilities you could also display the icons. For example at 34:48 you're saying to use both reflect and debilitate. In this case you could show both icons on the screen, so the people who play in another language or struggle remembering the ability names still know what abilities you mean. I mean yea, people could also check the buff bar, but I think this would be a nice little quality-of-life-improvement nonetheless and make it for some people easier to understand what to do in certain situations.
I just got my first necromancy kill on ambi thanks to your guide!!! Thank you so much for this awesome content, i couldn't have done it without you. I feel on top of the world! T90 Power gear here I come!
Speaking with a lot of experience with The Shadow Reef, it's probably my favourite piece of content in the game. I love the entire dynamic of diving into the ocean, gradually descending as it gets deeper and darker until you find yourself at the ocean floor having to prevent Kranon's ritual.
Awesome guide, super easy to follow. Necro obviously added some more options but really anyone with t90+ necro is going to be able to follow this one just fine.
Absolutely amazing guide 💯 can't wait to take on ambassador later! I've killed leviathan and taraket multiple times but have been scared of ambassador. Thank you for the rundown and confidence boost to try!!
I've killed the ambassador 3 times and it still doesn't feel consistent. The fight is epic though and I'm really enjoying it. I'm super slow though. I tried with a ripper demon at first when I realized I wasn't using a ton of food in the first phase thanks to soul split on the spinners. I ran out of food at the start of phase 3 and switched to a yak. Then after dying to the smoke repeatedly I slowed down even further to take extra time and place the smoke carefully. Then I got the kill. I'll probably try again with a ripper when I have greater flurry because I'm not comfortable doing spinners with my berserk on cooldown. Having to save it for the fragments is really hurting my DPS. I have to take it slow right now. Without being able to safely zerk on the ambassador I just can't hit hard enough to get away with a ripper.
Hey there's absolutely no problem with taking it slow. If your getting the kill, then that's the main goal! It used to take me about 12 mins to kill telos.. and that's absolutely the truth lol with practise you will bring your times down don't overly worry about it! 😁
@@InitYeah I recently beat my araxxi PB by 96 seconds, previous was just over 8 mins down to about 6:30, I hadn't been in months but thought I'd give it another go since I upgraded my gear a lot and got it as a reaper.
I came back from a two year break to content that demands killing the Ambassador. I immediately felt awful about seeing that because I remembered struggling for hours against the boss and never getting even halfway through (not making it to phase 2, if I recall correctly). The video guides make it look and sound so simple, and with Necromancy being good enough to immediately halve my time at a boss I killed over 400 times, I thought maybe I could do the damage to actually make it somewhere on the boss this time around. It didn't work out at all. It took my absolute best to even be able to destroy three of the six sinister fragments, and my damage on the boss is poor enough to have to deal with that phase at least three times, meaning all my food is gone before I get anywhere. There are definitely some things I can do to get better with practice, but I'm so far from being able to get anywhere that it still doesn't seem like actually getting through it would ever be possible. I could *maybe* push it to killing four fragments in a phase, but dealing with two of the resulting blasts per phase would still be more than enough to leave me with nothing very quickly. Maybe if there was a proper practice mode, where I could just fight the boss with my best gear and no upkeep costs, I'd be able to get somewhere eventually, but simply using my best gear actively costs way too much to do for very long. I have a free death perk active and it's honestly completely irrelevant with how death costs are now anyway. My death cost itself would only be under 35k, which is nothing compared to costs of food, potions, equipment, runes (if I want defensive abilities with Necromancy, which seem pretty much mandatory here) etc. I could try practicing in worse equipment, but if I can't accomplish anything with my best, that would just make things even more hopeless. I use up way too much food on the auto attacks and such in this fight, so even if I could actually make it to phase 2, I wouldn't be able to go much further. It does also seem like you might need to be full manual to actually time things like Resonance on some of his mechanics, and I know I definitely don't have the skill to be capable of learning that amidst such complex combat with any amount of practice. I don't have the capacity to keep track of my buffs, HP, and ability cooldowns while also trying to count boss attacks, anticipate each upcoming mechanic *and* doing all of my attacks manually. It's really impressive that some people can do all of that. Maybe you can use Resonance without full manual though? I clicked it immediately after the ranged attack hit and it activated too late to block the massively damaging attack, but maybe it's because I was further from the boss than is shown in the video? If that makes the ranged attack hit later, it probably throws off Resonance timing as well. Typing that out gave me a sense of déjà vu, like I already ran into that same issue in the past (but then, I used melee in the past, so I don't see how I wouldn't have been close to him then, maybe I'm just imagining that it happened before). There's also just the way RuneScape works making things much harder on me because it just doesn't work well. Because I can't kill the sinister fragments smoothly and easily, casually going from one to the next in the direction the giant beam attack goes, I have to try to work around that beam while killing the fragments, and that's never fun. I have to try to dodge it, but the tick system means that any movement on my part will probably have to be selected a half-second in advance, and the beam hitboxes are so much bigger than they look that they can easily kill even if my character never visibly stands in a spot where they touch it. With all that out of the way, sorry about the pointless ranting on this guide video. This boss just brings out the worst in me and I *hate* how he was made a requirement for T90 Necromancy armor. Any other Elite Dungeon boss I would have been fine with. I've even run ED2 for fun before, but ED3 is just hell, at least for two of the three bosses (Leviathan is punishing if you run in not knowing what to expect, but easy once you learn to avoid the attacks that basically instantly kill).
Despite the rant, I didn't entirely give up on the boss this time, and I eventually managed to get the kill. It took a change in mindset to not care about how many resources I was wasting on many failed attempts, as I had to use my absolute best of everything to have a chance. I can't see myself ever getting good at bosses of this level though; there's too much going on and I freak out and misplay everything. One of my deaths I had him down to 31k health and died to panicking and using Preparation instead of a defensive ability that would have actually helped.
what is the green bag in the arrows slot ? Also, maybe you could add the equipement and inventory list in the video description for people who do not know the items just by looking at their icon. Thank you !

I'm 3 cycling it. I'm only at 3 KC and I can't get the kill consistently. If you can take out 4 spinners consistently that's good enough. Barely but it is.
Are you both using reckless aura? If so, as soon as the spinners start you want to ensure your at high adrenaline and then start immediately sharing out thresholds. What I mean by that is, on one fragment you would snapshot and bleeds, then move to the 2nd as soon as you know the first is dead/will die to bleeds. Needle and rapid fire the 2nd one + 1 basic should do it. Then tendrils + 1 other threshold and basic for 3rd. 4th you would re snap shot and bleeds, and repeat for last 2.
