SHAEEDA VS INVESTOR VISA There is nowhere in the K1 visa rules that says a person has to become your business investor. They come to marry and become wives or husbands with their basic needs catered for by the sponsor. There are other visas by which a foreigner can come as an investor and they have a very different anf competitive criteria. By talking the way she is doing, Bilal can actually have leverage over her and accuse her of trying to change her visa rules to something not stipulated ( which makes her look like a scammer and opportunist/ not fiancee).

I am not Muslim so when we planned our wedding I had to learn some of the ways that Muslims celebrate/view marriage and married life. This is very common in the faith. The Quran literally says that’s a mans wealth is intended for the security of his wife and children above all things. There is nowhere in the K1 visa rules that says a person has to become your business investor. They come to marry and become wives or husbands with their basic needs catered for by the sponsor. There are other visas by which a foreigner can come as an investor and they have a very different anf competitive criteria. By talking the way she is doing, Bilal can actually have leverage over her and accuse her of trying to change her visa rules to something not stipulated ( which makes her look like a scammer and opportunist/ not fiancee).

You keep referring to this as Bilial "investing" in Shaeeda's business. What she is wanting is NOT an "INVESTMENT" it is a gift. In so many ways, what she wants is stupid. She is basically setting a bride price, only there is no actual figures mentioned here. If he agreed to this, he could go buy a hole in the wall and hand her the keys and fulfil his end of this deal. I don't think I personally want Bilal to get equity in the company. I want her to look at the funds as an interest-free loan. Create a comfortable timeline to pay him back his money and the business shouldn't be viewed as community property.

Y’all watching this show and having so many testimonies of people, getting treated BAD by their American partner, makes me understand why the foreign partner often wait patiently to have the papers…then RUN AWAY. They don’t realize how a big deal it is, to leave everything you have (family, friends, work) for someone. You (Americans) should try to understand that as a foreign partner during the k1 process you can’t work, can’t have your own place, can’t leave the country either (cause the immigration process goes back to 0). Seeing all these horrible persons, makes me feel absolutely not sorry when they’re scammed, left alone

It still going to be hard, costly and take years for me to get my papers if I want to be American. USA is one of the hardest country to immigrate in. So yes foreigners do study etc. YET it’s sill a struggle ! So don’t be quick to judge people for the means they use to improve their life or just be reunited with the person they love.

I believe in being fair. If you truly care about someone you would want to treat them fairly. These things should have been discussed before she left Trinidad. I’m sorry but this needs to be said… I am married to a Muslim man. I am not Muslim so when we planned our wedding I had to learn some of the ways that Muslims celebrate/view marriage and married life. We actually had a marriage contract where he promised security to me. It’s purpose is to provide Muslim brides with security in the form of homes/children/money or land should the marriage end. This is very common in the faith. The Quran literally says that’s a mans wealth is intended for the security of his wife and children above all things. So the fact that he wants to keep half of a business that is literally “her brand” is not only petty but also very much against the teachings of his religion. She should not only be provided with children but also her business so she is able to care for them in the event of a divorce. Period
