As a pattern maker and tailor working on big projects here in LA ( Picard , masked singer… ) you have a huge amount of talent. Think about trying to get into movies … we could use you !
This is definitely a vast improvement in terms of accuracy over the previous version. It may lack all of the fun moving parts, but it looks simply amazing. From what I can see, however, it seems to be a pretty snug fit. Is there a reason why your head is held at such an angle when you're wearing it? I have a suggestion regarding the magnets. For a helmet I've done (Ultraman from the ULTRAMAN anime on Netflix), I decided to make the face piece detachable via magnets. The best way I've figured to get the right alignment without much trial and error is to make matching pattern pieces for either side. So, what I would do is put a piece of paper on the face shell, trace the lens shape, and map out where I'd want the magnets to go (within the black borders, along the edges); dotting or drawing the placement. Then, I'd cut out those dots, which serve as the magnet layout. I would cut out that traced lens shape and use that pattern for both the face shell and the lenses. I'll try my best to make a video of that whole concept when I get around to finally making a Spider-Man mask.
My 9yo wanted one for Halloween. We started making it. Now at the sowing stage. Incredibly intimidating but going to power through. He is already in love with the way it looks. Awesome iob!

I'm so excited to make this!!! I'm 19 and a cosplayer. I've been cosplaying since I was 14 which means I have been a broke cosplayer this whole time. I figured out how to make things from random stuff from around my house. I love prop making tho and have tried my best at cosplay. I've wanted to cosplay spiderman for a long time but don't have 170 bucks to drop on a face shell or lenses. And I am saving for a suit but that's about how far my money is gonna go. So this is super helpful and I'm really hoping I'll be able to make it!!! I don't have a lot of experience doing actual proper work on anything (I've had to wing kinda everything. One of my best props was me screwing around with cardboard, a broken hanger, a straw, an empty Altoids can, some leftover eva foam scraps, old clay from school, plastic from a box, and dollar tree fairy lights... It's chaos but hey it turned out ok) while I'm inexperienced tho you do explain everything so well and I think I can maybe do this now! Also this'll help so much with my mask making! I make masks sometimes and ive only ever done the cereal box + paper mache method
I love this so much. I still remember watching the first video where you made a Spider-Man mask and it looked amazing and I was impressed that you were able to make the whole thing with your own materials. Seeing this new mask amazes me even more because it looks more accurate to the movies and ngl if I didn't know this mask was made by you I would've thought this was the actual practical mask from the movies
friend, this is incredible, I give it a 10/10... I've been reading comments and I saw some very peculiar ones where they mentioned that they made the TASM2 mask and I think it's a very good idea... I have no doubt that if this one turned out incredible, how would it be with the by TASM2
The magnets for the lenses is such a good idea! Though from the various doll customisation videos I’ve watched, I’d recommend covering the magnets with thin fabric and wrapping it around and gluing it down to opposite side to prevent them from coming unstuck
This is amazing! The mask is such high quality despite being homemade! One question though- could you perhaps make a video about how to make the Andrew TASM 2 mask or the Tobey mask for variety? I would love to know how to make my own TASM 2 mask because I'm planning to cosplay him hopefully in the near future. It would be an amazing and helpful video! (Pun intended)

Hi Sean! Firstly, thanks for helping me discover a new hobby! It was a lot of fun learning to create masks from you! Secondly, I was wondering how you create the mask templates. Is there a specific program that you use? Thanks so much in advance!!
The character Spider-Man, has inspired lots of people. I like him a lot so I decided to create a statue of him using cement, if you are a fan of him then I believe you will like it!
Using perforated vinyl as a stencil was a total game changer to puffy painting!! You're so smart, Sean!! Keep it up💪🏻 Now with this video, i can add more details to the moving lenses mask😆
If anyone is wondering about the math from his vid, let me try to explain it. If you use head circumference (you measure your head overall in a circle) it's going to be too big, for example, if your overall head "width" is around 56cm, the mask will be as big as the Hulks head. To put in the math, 560 / 160 x 100 = 350 in tile scale. THAT'S 42 PAGES. your beautiful head doesn't need that much paper. Head width ≠ Head circumference. So you need to measure it from ear to ear, so example, if your overall head CIRCUMFERENCE and not WIDTH is 56cm, divide that number by 2, which gives you 28cm. Edit, so that's 280 / 160 x 100 = 175 But ngl, this for me, it's still too big Fun fact, I managed to measure mine with a head width of 33 cms, and when I plug in the math, thats 330 / 160 x 100 = 207 yeeeeaaaahhhhh still too big I'll probably try it with normal scale at 100% and update from there. The template, awesome, wunderbar, a freaking help ffs, but my lord does the math don't math in my head. I feel dumb just calculating it, and I don't need anyone else besides me telling me I'm more stupid than I already am. Update, I printed out the scale in 100% no dilly dally whatsover and it fits perfectly like a glove, all those papers that I printed out in 350% and 207% all gone to waste.
Bro I'm 16 and I tried with 100%, my face is not too big but the faceshell is too short. I think you must increase your tile scale more If you older than me or your face bigger than (Width: 160mm)
@@gahu3894for me, it's literally trial and error. since even if I do the math 100% correct, it would still be too big. I'm actually 25 years old and I just used a tile of about 150-160% and that's still too big / too long for me. So I'm going to try with both 100%, which is the normal tile scale and a scale that you suggested with a head width of 150-160mm which if I put it in the math is around 94% in tile scale (150 / 160 x 100 = 94%, 160 / 160 x 100 = 100%) This is not my head width AT ALL, but will give it a shot
Hi Sean! This faceshell looks amazing, what an awesome job! I have a problem with my measures. My head circunference is 540 mm and I don't know how to use the formula. I've tried to calculate and the result is 337.5. If I do it with the distance from ear to ear (250 mm), the result is 156,25. Is it wrong? Thank you and keep doin' this kind of stuff!!!! 😁
Im usually not into DIY stuff but somehow im brutally motivated to make an entire spidey suit myself… I have no Idea how this could possibly work, but ur video helped a lot!
Ahh, this is so cool! Trying to make one for my own spider-man cosplay, but I think I must be doing something wrong, bc every time I put the Tile Scale in, it says it'll take 40 sheets to print 😅 Update! Seems head circumference was not what was meant by "head width." I know where I went wrong, but now I'm not sure where to measure from and to :/
I have the same problem, my head width in centimeters is 56 cm, in millimeters 560. Following the formula (560/160 x 100) results 350, something like 42 sheets to print. Idk what i'm doing wrong XD.
This is amazing! Sean your insane :D I wish I could make like this but don't have the materials...n-not even a printer for now😔 BUT BRILLIANT WORK, KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK MY MAN. YOU DESERVE A LOT MORE 🥰🥳

L,
That looks so clean holy, also could you also make Tobey and Andrew if you haven’t?

Good idea

Extremely comprehensive, I love your videos.
The magnets for the lenses is such a good idea! Though from the various doll customisation videos I’ve watched, I’d recommend covering the magnets with thin fabric and wrapping it around and gluing it down to opposite side to prevent them from coming unstuck
You've got the best and easy ideas as compared to others ♡
That was definately an improvement from the first one, I love your videos and I would love to see you make the Scarlet Spider mask
True
Thanks
But isn’t it pretty much a red morph suit mask with lenses
Finally a video were they don’t assume that you alr know how to make mask already😮💨
This was just amazing! Looks like the real deal. Awesome work.
imagine how sick it would be if you made a full suit

Saya sangat menyukainya. Terus buat klip untuk mengajarkan cara membuat penembak jaring laba-laba seperti ini. Maju terus FC🙏👏
It’s always so satisfying to see how it comes together
This is amazing! The mask is such high quality despite being homemade! One question though- could you perhaps make a video about how to make the Andrew TASM 2 mask or the Tobey mask for variety? I would love to know how to make my own TASM 2 mask because I'm planning to cosplay him hopefully in the near future. It would be an amazing and helpful video! (Pun intended)
The character Spider-Man, has inspired lots of people. I like him a lot so I decided to create a statue of him using cement, if you are a fan of him then I believe you will like it!
Dude, your masks are so awesome and you make it seem so easy to make them. I'd really love to make one, too, but I'm sure it's a lot more difficult than it looks.
I love your work.
This Mask is perfect man! Great work!
Great job, it looks so realistic! I would love to see your take on a Moon Knight mask!

Amazing work once again. It's incredible how you've improved you're style/technique and so the mask.
It's very inspiring! Might make a mask myself one day, I can only pray it will be as good as yours!

Wow. This is one of the most realistic things I’ve ever seen you make. Keep up the good work Sean.

This was INSANE bro! It looks EXACTLY like the movie ! Thanks to you, I can know make a PERFECT SpiderMan No Way home suit.
Keep up the good work men !
Hey sean, if you mix the black puffy paint with fabric softener, it can stop it from cracking :b
Detergent?
Hi Sean! Firstly, thanks for helping me discover a new hobby! It was a lot of fun learning to create masks from you! Secondly, I was wondering how you create the mask templates. Is there a specific program that you use? Thanks so much in advance!!

Dude that is _sick_ (the good kind)! 😍😍😍🥰❤️
You never fail to amaze us Sean! Keep up the Awesome work!
Using perforated vinyl as a stencil was a total game changer to puffy painting!! You're so smart, Sean!! Keep it up💪🏻
Now with this video, i can add more details to the moving lenses mask😆
That is the most genius way of getting the dotted texture I've seen!! Amazing work!!!
WOW THATS AMAZING! good job sean, I can't even do stuff like this
If anyone is wondering about the math from his vid, let me try to explain it.
Edit, so that's 280 / 160 x 100 = 175
But ngl, this for me, it's still too big
Fun fact, I managed to measure mine with a head width of 33 cms, and when I plug in the math, thats 330 / 160 x 100 = 207
yeeeeaaaahhhhh still too big
I'll probably try it with normal scale at 100% and update from there.
So I'm going to try with both 100%, which is the normal tile scale and a scale that you suggested with a head width of 150-160mm which if I put it in the math is around 94% in tile scale (150 / 160 x 100 = 94%, 160 / 160 x 100 = 100%)
This is not my head width AT ALL, but will give it a shot
Bro 1:40 is this formula actuallly correct because i am getting my answer 347
I got 333
@@gameboxUniverse I got 358

😁
SÍ 😊😎❤️💛💚💙💜♥️💓💗💖💆👇👏
Did you figure it out?
I had the same problem
@@carlswoolf4544i think everyone is having the same problem, im so confused
Your creations are amazingly awesome 👌
Im usually not into DIY stuff but somehow im brutally motivated to make an entire spidey suit myself… I have no Idea how this could possibly work, but ur video helped a lot!
Ahh, this is so cool! Trying to make one for my own spider-man cosplay, but I think I must be doing something wrong, bc every time I put the Tile Scale in, it says it'll take 40 sheets to print 😅
Update! Seems head circumference was not what was meant by "head width." I know where I went wrong, but now I'm not sure where to measure from and to :/
U need to take the width of the head in milemeteres
where u went wrong?
I have the same problem, my head width in centimeters is 56 cm, in millimeters 560. Following the formula (560/160 x 100) results 350, something like 42 sheets to print. Idk what i'm doing wrong XD.
Head WIDTH not circumference!
Imagine a line straight from one ear to another. Mine in about 20 cm. Wish he had shown how to measure it
This is amazing! Sean your insane :D
I wish I could make like this but don't have the materials...n-not even a printer for now😔
