for the glass cloth, idk if it's a bad idea but i've always cut the cloth into strips like you did but I would spray the inside with spray adhesive to lay down a full layer of cloth and then resin the entire thing at once. saves a bit of time i'd imagine but is obviously an extra product needed.
Man, it was so fascinating! I was just sitting at my table and thinking "how could he do this?" At the end I was completely shocked by the result, considering the fact that all you used were a few cereal boxes. Well, I just wanna say that you are extremely talented at DIY and it is so cool that you film it! I have done a spider man mask so far and soon will finish one of your web shooters. Thank you for that!
Sean, for the lenses of the mask, you can buy a roll of golden colored one-way film, then stick it to plastic. Afterwards, you can glue in the pieces and it shouldn't have those tiny gaps😁
The mask overall looks super realistic and badass, you did an excellent job with this and there's really good detail!! I can tell this was a ton of hard work but it was executed almost flawlessly and it looks identical to a prop from the real movie!! Well done man seriously this is some fine craftsmanship right here!!
Thambi who are you da ?! My 4.5 yr old is always watching your videos sometimes even multiple times. You are quite genius. Me and my husband are in awe looking at your work.
It would be cool if you made a spiderman far from home mask with lenses that you can lift, and if it could open and close like your other spiderman masks. You could also make a green goblin pumpkin bomb. You did an awesome job!
Amazing result! The smoothness after the tedious sanding is well worth it and it looks like a movie prop. When I made my ODST armor based on the Landfall trailer I started glueing my stretchy straps on the underside AND on top, with big overlapping onto the armor material(underside ofc so it wont show). That made the straps extremely durable as one requirement for my suit was that I must be able to run in it, change poses like going crouch rapidly and repleatedly. So for an helmet that comes on and off I would reinforce the straps a bit. Awesome build anyways!

Try to find some skii goggles with gold tint. Using a fine saw and fine sandpaper makes the edges look real nice, also it covers the sockets on the mask
Awesome work! To all those beginners attempting this please take all the proper safety precautions when working with the bondo and resin! Gloves, respirator, eye protection, proper air flow, and more!
The mask looks amazing! You did an awesome job! That was a lot of work. Not sure I'd have the patience for some of those tedious pieces. I enjoyed watching you make this.
Wow..brilliant job! I built an ironman helmet using the same method years ago so appreciate the learning curve and sheer hard work you went thru! i burnt out on mine and stopped at the clay stage! it's been sitting in a cupboard for 6yrs! you may have inspired me to finally finish it!! thanks for that!
Look I know this video is 2 years old but I haven't seen someone do the papercraft+resin and glassfiber+bondo thing in SUCH a long time, this video sent me back to my 15-year old self lurking the rpf forum. got a subscriber
Really love the result. This looks 100% professionaly made, like in a movie set. Thanks for the awesome tutorial and the free templates. Im about to try this myself. Just want to note that a better way to measure your head is using the Circumference of the head, above the eyebrowns, instead of just the width. Or at least that is what works for me
Incredible tutorial. I normally don't feel like I'm capable of doing a lot of these DIY projects but this is so well laid out and your final product looks incredible!
Dude this is absolutely insane! I love how clean this looks! If you want, something that I think could enhance it is if you find a green to purple color shift paint and apply it to the back and top of the head, because in the first movie his head seemed to have a purple tint at some angles like they were trying to hint at the purple cap from the comic design, and the color shift paint could give that subtle effect. Now you definitely need to revisit your retractable web shooter and base it off one of the new designs from No Way Home
@@randomapple6390 probably exports the file into another program that flattens out the pieces, then arranges the pieces onto a document and prints off each page. I think the printable pages are already available in his link so you shouldn’t have any problems with that
I'm gonna save this video for when I start working on my Halloween costume. It's not gonna be the Green Goblin, but I do plan on making the mask and other parts out of cardboard, so the techniques used in this project may come in handy. Keep up the great work!
Nice work dude! I've got mad respect for anyone that makes a helmet this way. First stromtrooper helmet that I ever made was done this way and it's so much work. It is very rewarding though! Keep it up man, you got a sub out of me!
Man seeing pepakura threw me back! I made reptile's mask and Noble 6's helmet as a kid using indymogul's tutorial, not that they were even close to this quality though. Watching this makes me wanna try again though, you did an amazing job!!!
I just want to say.. what you're doing here on this channel. It's great. Making something like this accessable to your audience and showing them how they can do this themselves.. you're not only giving them a chance to make something cool with their own hands, but you're giving them the opportunity to fall in love with crafting. 🎩hats off to you mate. hats off. PS. visually, I think you got most of it onscreen (the gloves to show you were protecting yourself from the fiberglass, and the warnings on the resin bottle).. BUT you have to say these things. this is pretty important to push out there, the whole safety thing. I know you know how to do protect yourself from these things. But for future, if you're using these things, generally people give verbal warnings. And especially if you're sending crafters to the products directly, you should probably tell them, "hey watch out for this product for this this and this reason". If they're smart, they'll read the bottles and stuff. If they don't care, tell them. And if they don't listen, well that's on them. I really don't know how to write a comment about health and safety. I just want to be respectful. And give feedback and stuff. Cheers.
I think the only part of this mask that seems lacking compared the mask in the movie is (and I'm not sure how it's achieved) but the movie mask has like a purple tint to it depending on the angle. This looks dope in all other regards.
It's a color shift pigment and you can't get that in a spray can, you need a spray gun and compressor to do that I think. Maybe there is a variant of spray can that has the color shift pigment
This was so amazing dude. I’ve been subscribed for a while now and you have been getting better and better at making things like this. I think your a very smart creator who thinks outside the box allot! AMAZING JOB! Keep it up 👍
Hello Sean, Can you please make a tutorial video on making a simple spiderman cosplay webshooter? Without using your super sharp knife, Springs, Magnets and all of the other complicated stuff. I really hope you read this :)
such a killer job sean! i'm glad I got this in my recommended! just subbed and i've got a drive to finish up my majora's mask that started as a pep. going to order some of the clay you linked, affiliate moneyyyy
I have a query Sean. About the printing. I can't take the whole printout in a big page so i will have to digitally cut in the computer and then print it but in doing so i may mess up the ratio of the parts and some may end up bigger than the other.
Really amazing work! Honestly it looks incredible. I'd love to see a follow up video where maybe you create a mold and more masks, or do a repaint of this one - cause the one thing I think this one is missing is the purple sheen the original had. It was some sort of two tone or maybe undercoat, but in certain lights you could see the armour was purple. They also seem to miss it in No Way Home though so I wouldn't stress it 😂
This looks like you stole from the Spider-man prop room ,simply amazing man! A suggestion for your next build is maybe a Assassin's Creed Hidden blade or the PS4 spider armour mk II suit's web shooter (like the whole gauntlet).
In my opinion it would've looked cooler with the yellow eyes, even with the small black curves around them it still looked like a faithful Green Goblin mask, and more intimidating! But the final result was pretty freaking awesome nevertheless, seriously, it's already better than most of the official merchandise. Keep up the quality content!
I’m very inspired by this tutorial! I made a more crude version of this helmet using the same pepakura template when I was a kid. Can’t wait to see how mine turns out now that I’m 10 years older.
The moment I saw the clay I felt bad for you knowing where that was headed. lol I sculpt with that clay, it's a great product but it's not meant for such crafts. Lesson learned though. You should definitely try using it for what it's meant for, you have a natural talent.
apoxy sculp is great instead of polymer clay, it air dries and can be spraypainted. it also is durable once dry, although it the the more expensive option it is the higher quality one
There's actually a little bit of purple sprayd on the top of the head in Spider-Man 2002 so i suggest that you go back and spray paint a bit of purple on it
Nearly finished mine.. looks good!! Think i printed it a bit smaller plus i used glue gun for part of the ear...bad idea, not sure I'll use clay but will see when i get to that stage

Cheers.
You wrote a lot

Absolutely amazing Sean! I wish I could be like you someday.
Keep it up 👍
How does he print it in 9 parts
Even though u had to go through a lot of obstacles u still got it done. You are an inspiration ❤️💯
The amount of effort and detail on this is amazing!
Could you make Edith Glasses maybe? Just a suggestion, Nice work I love your craftsmanship!
Hello Sean, Can you please make a tutorial video on making a simple spiderman cosplay webshooter? Without using your super sharp knife, Springs, Magnets and all of the other complicated stuff. I really hope you read this :)
As someone who has never used clay before, you did a really good job!!
such a killer job sean! i'm glad I got this in my recommended! just subbed and i've got a drive to finish up my majora's mask that started as a pep. going to order some of the clay you linked, affiliate moneyyyy
Haha thank you!
I have a query Sean. About the printing. I can't take the whole printout in a big page so i will have to digitally cut in the computer and then print it but in doing so i may mess up the ratio of the parts and some may end up bigger than the other.
Watch the last part of the video
Amazing.
Mano se é brasileiro né?kkkkkk
Eu também achava que Amazing sozinho era espetacular...

Sean 2044: i built a Iron man repulser out of cardboard (THAT ACTUALLY SHOOTS FIRE)
Make The amazing Spider-Man mask please....❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️I always support your video ma friend...pls
That's insane. Looks awesome.
I've just started mask making and this gives me inspiration.
You have to do the no way home magic web shooter Sean !! It's amazing
I cant wait till we move into a house and I can make a little workshop for stuff like this. its so cool.
“It doesn’t really look like the real thing, obviously,-“
Me: “I.... bu-.... HUH?!”
They also seem to miss it in No Way Home though so I wouldn't stress it 😂
How does he print it in 9 parts
This looks like you stole from the Spider-man prop room ,simply amazing man! A suggestion for your next build is maybe a Assassin's Creed Hidden blade or the PS4 spider armour mk II suit's web shooter (like the whole gauntlet).
I would love a hidden blade from him!
The old Pepakura ways, man I remember those days, prior to EVA Foam and now 3D Printing. Time flies.
Bro ur work is legendary🔥👌
In my opinion it would've looked cooler with the yellow eyes, even with the small black curves around them it still looked like a faithful Green Goblin mask, and more intimidating! But the final result was pretty freaking awesome nevertheless, seriously, it's already better than most of the official merchandise. Keep up the quality content!
I’m very inspired by this tutorial! I made a more crude version of this helmet using the same pepakura template when I was a kid. Can’t wait to see how mine turns out now that I’m 10 years older.
for the glasses i think you should use are those big (Eskimo)snow glasses for snow skiing
Can you please make a black panther claws
Good idea
This is absolutely amazing! Great job! This has definitely inspired me to try and create my own. How much do you think you spent on your supplies?
Damn this looks amazing I’m glad TH-cam recommended this channel, you make a lot of amazing stuff, keep going
this is the most wholesome healthy hobby I've seen in a while
Wow he eats a lot of cheerios
PLss make a video about how to make the andrew garfields mask!! i need it :)
how long did this take you to make???
Yes.
I built my Flash helmet last year on my own. This could work for my boyfriend. Thank you for the lesson Mr Sean
The moment I saw the clay I felt bad for you knowing where that was headed. lol I sculpt with that clay, it's a great product but it's not meant for such crafts. Lesson learned though. You should definitely try using it for what it's meant for, you have a natural talent.
Simply genius bro! Thanks! I am thinking of building a green goblin cosplay from scratch.😊
Nice
Its like factory made. I would love to do something like this one day. It was satisfying and worth watching.
apoxy sculp is great instead of polymer clay, it air dries and can be spraypainted. it also is durable once dry, although it the the more expensive option it is the higher quality one
There's actually a little bit of purple sprayd on the top of the head in Spider-Man 2002 so i suggest that you go back and spray paint a bit of purple on it
I came here to get an idea for creating a Fennec Shand helmet. This seems pretty cool!
Nearly finished mine.. looks good!! Think i printed it a bit smaller plus i used glue gun for part of the ear...bad idea, not sure I'll use clay but will see when i get to that stage
amazing job, hopefully oneday ill be able to make longer videos like this. Been to worried short attentionspans will ruin the discoverability.
This is one of the craziest creations I ever seen, keep your great work up!
I know this sounds weird to say, but your actually good at crafts! lol
You are so creative that you can do like you 3d printed
As sick as this design is, You should trying sculpting, carving, and animation! 😊
