Simple to install hinges but useful. These are called Concealed hinges. Here's Amazon affiliate link for this if you're unable to get it from the Home Depot amzn.to/3zTxHcJ.
Exactly what i needed to know. I have the same issue with my cabinets in our travel trailer. Was thinking those angle tension holder things or gas shocks to hold the door up but these are perfect. Thanks!
Thank you so much !!!! I have those hinges for a project i'm doing and i could find a tutorial on how to install them until i found yours! Very helpful and very well explained !
I love watching your instruction videos! You give a brief explanation which absolutely is helpful. These cabinet doors are beautiful. I used to have knotty Alder in my home.
Thank you so much you made my day I ordered these but the instructions were so hard to follow, I used your method and my doors are up and look great. Many blessings to you and your and stay safe
Thanks I purchased these hinges and was not sure the install process your video was excellent and very helpful, got mine from wickes hardware store in England.
I've been trying to figure out what hinges to use for a pull down cabinet door, without counter sinking them... I was considring non-mortise hinges but part of the hinges show (like your old hinges) Would these 90 degree hinges work? p.s. Excellant video and instruction. Thank you
when you show which side goes on the door, it looks like you put the wrong side of the hinge on the door side. It says on the back side of the hinge door, and you put that side on the cabinet not the door ?
I'm not sure if you or anyone reading this comment know the answer but I'll ask anyway. I'm thinking of using these hinges on a cabinet with vertical stacking 'cubes'. So the doors will be side-by-side in vertical order. What is the gap I need to leave between the bottom of the door at the top to the hinged edge of the door below it, so that the doors can open without bumping each other?
How did you know to measure 3/4" from the edge of the cabinet door to place the hinge ? I bought these to put on my cabinets that I'm making now for my van. Thanks
The initial installaion is wrong. You should only screw in the slotted holes, then adjust the hinge until you are certain, then screww in the the round holes.
J Raymer - you actually can! I actually used them on a cabinet setup myself. You can see the optional uses in the photos on these: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IY8CTLM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Very good video. I was wondering how the hinges are doing after a couple years. Also, what is the minimum thickness needed for the cabinet box to screw the hinges into. Thanks so much!
I need to buy them, but I live in Singapore. If you have the brand and serial number or the common name for it plus where you bought it I'll see if I can get them sent to me.
You can bend them but takes a special technique. Hold them thumb to you centre then push your thumbs up like breaking chocolate. You grip the other side flap with your next finger.- Took me a while to work it out
No, these are not. If you want the soft close ones here's the link. They're exactly the same size. www.amazon.com/dp/B07G41JNGT/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_DxIpCb43F0W69

There are longer holes that designed to be adjustable for your screws in case they door is too tight and close.
The initial installaion is wrong. You should only screw in the slotted holes, then adjust the hinge until you are certain, then screww in the the round holes.
Is the overlay at the top and bottom the same? Is it the amount you measured on the door? Thanks!!!!
Good clip 👍🏼
Thank You!
The problem with these hinges is the cabinet header board has to be twice as wide as typical cabinets.
Most RV cabins headers are 3/4" wide.
Could you use these on a cabinet door in the house? It would be for doors that open left and right instead of up.
It's designed for up and down doors if you use it for side way it can only open 90°

The hinges were still good but I upgraded to a soft close kind. You need a 3/4" thickness
Nice one cheers :)

will it pop open from the vibration
No, nothing has open or fallen off
Are they only supposed to work when mounted? I tried moving them with my hands and they won’t budge.
Oh they're strong you can't fold until you mount them
@@BoChuonOUTDOORSVANBUILD Thank you.

the background is way too loud very difficult to catch what you are saying
I heard very good opinions about the Woodglut plans.
Sorry, the background music is too loud and I couldn't hear anything you were saying.
Sorry that video is so old. I will make a better one.
U should play louder music
Don’t need the loud annoying music
Why the annoying music?!!!! Lower the volume in your production as it is difficult to hear you with that stupid music not exactly in the background!!!
You're welcome
