Honestly your verbal advice for how to make changes to the pattern was pretty easy to follow for me! I also have to write out math to make changes that’ll suit me and even if my math doesn’t make sense to anyone else it makes sense to me 😂
Can I just say I feel very validated lol. It took me 6 months to finish my cardigan, lost my mind with the front panel decreases too and my diamonds on the back look... interesting :D and frogged a million times. Your cardigan turned out GREAT and looks incredibly comfy. Love how it looks on you!!
i also made this same cardigan from the same pattern and wow it is so comforting seeing you go through the same stuff. ive had to frog and redo portions so many times and the decreases on the front were so confusing for me as well. as a fellow plus size ish girl i added like 8 dc on each front side cause i didnt want the fabric to get too bunches up at my shoulders/armpits. i also got a complex about the width of mine ngl 😭(and it totally hasnt been a wip for over a year......)
the realest crochet video i've ever seen. i relate SO HARD to the random math on a piece of paper to try and figure out what i'm doing!! it's impossible to explain but it makes perfect sense lol. also i looooooove that you include all the mistakes you made and issues you ran into. i'm trying to make a dress rn and have redone parts of it at least 15 times now
Omg, i remember wanting to make one myself too, but got so confused by the sizing adjustment, so i just bought the digital pattern that includes different sizes 🥲 But yours turned out amazing, you look absolutely beautiful! 🤍 Side note: you explained each step of adjusting very well! Thank you for that, im sure it'll be helpful to those, who'll want to make it as well.
i highly appreciate how honest you are! the length you took in finishing the garment makes sense to me. seems realistic. the frogging. how long it took you to film the last clip. all of it. love it

i spent half my time frogging projects lol! i love long projects once they’re done though, so satisfying!!
