      I would like to put it like this:
      The education of these criminal scammers is roughly that of an 8-year-old boy in a Western European country.
      You also have to consider that in countries like Nigeria, the language spoken is not English but Pidgin English, which in and of itself is difficult to understand.

An acquaintance is merely someone you know and you probably would not want to share any intimate information with. This illusion of choice is also a very good way to make a child work with you. I often have trouble sleeping due to chronic pain, which is very frustrating, which leads to greater trouble getting to sleep. 🤦‍♀️ Putting on the A.S. scam baiting playlist helps assuage the frustration with his soothing voice and clever humor. The outros are far less likely to wake me up than the ads between the videos.

    one thing i've always wanted to do if i were to start scambaiting (if i were smart enough about email, i would've started already) is to take a detail they list about what they're looking for in their "partner" and say i can't fit their needs. "are you a business man or woman?" "i apologize, i'm neither, i think you'll need to look elsewhere". my only worry is it'd cut the conversation short too fast, but there's potential for a rich vein of confusion that might get jumped on.

    • @kirtil5177
      @kirtil5177 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      it might work if you say you can only tangentally fit their needs and keep derailing the scam to mention that and other stuff that is ultimately irrelevant. something like "are you a reliable business parter i can trust?" "i have committed fraud multiple times, is that alright? what type of fraud is still alright with you?"

      I think the chances of a scammer dropping a "bite" from a target without at least *trying* to reel it in are quite small. The vast majority of targets just delete their messages without any response, of course, and the more people that watch AS scambaiting, the bigger the majority that will be.

    Mr. Shrimp, I've got a question/suggestion (not sure if such idea was previously already done by yourself), could you try making a fake scam e-mail to join in the converstation with the real scammer to make him believe that the victim has already paid to the fake scammer and to propose the idea of joint scam collaboration? Cheers and thank you for your efforts! :)

    .You are unique in that you do email scams of this sort, no other channel seems to work them, and I find myself smiling the whole way through.
    And the info you provided in the 'show more' is good too.
    .
    I first came for the scam baiting, but also very much enjoy the other diverse topics you cover, especially your cooking ones.

    .

    I found it particularly amusing that the ATM Card scammer was charging $2600 for $35,000, although only charging $2500 for $40,000.
    With that pricing logic, the victim could technically just buy the 40 grand option twice and only pay $5000 for 80k rather than paying 7. Not a great mathematician that one.

    Plus, Mazar is a Mujaheddin stronghold, there have never been Taliban over there, so I doubt there has ever been US army raids.
